I had the exact same thought when I left the ground. We'll enjoy every minute of it, the fans have certainly earned it based on recent times.

Totally agree. You do not get long term success and consistancy with that style. Its survival football at its best.

I don't remember who hit it, but it was heading for the postage stamp until Clark finger tipped it over the bar.

That's as good as a goal scored at the other end.
fizoxy
That was some clearance, and the fact that it was our striker that made it just shows how much graft this team puts in on top of the easy on the eye stuff. The work our attacking players put in is crazy. Just is so good at closing the opposition down and pressing, he covers the space really quickly. Then you have Said, who seems to have the shortest and longest legs at the same time, he's so good at keeping the ball, and finds ways to nick it back when he doesn't even look close. grizzlyg
To not beat top of table and be disappointed shows how much we have progressed. Just missed great chances but will let him off. Slatts and Watt poor imo. Welsh awesome
texanwellfan
Not sure I would say poor but I think for Slats amd Just, their touch let them down a bit. Hoping they’re back to top of their game for midweek.

Something special happening down Fir Park way. South Stand capacity cut to 4,600. So about 6,339 Well fans. That's impressive.

Not sure why but Said wasn’t happy with Devlin. Motherwell players got him out of the way before he done anything stupid. I didn’t see anything worthy of red card. A fair summing up but Devlin should never have seen the final whistle. He was very fortunate not to receive a 2nd yellow card. Referee bottled it. FirParkCornerExile
For a 0-0 draw I enjoyed that game, can't believe Stephen Thomson and Steven Naismith thought it was a dull game. Hearts were on the front foot for 25 mins in the second half and other than Henry's overhead kick clearance we were never in bother. Welsh was absolutely immense and McGinn not far behind. I felt Slatterys was falling into his old bad habit of playing for fouls. He's better when he's concentrates his efforts into the creative part of his game. However I do temper that with how physical Hearts were. Just was outstanding all over the park with the exception of his final ball. Similarly Said has some great skills but his final ball is also poor. That said those are small criticisms I thought we were a good watch again and would have merited the 3 points. Also a terrific turn out by the Motherwell fans and by the reaction at the end I think most enjoyed it. Fir Park has a really good vibe with these bigger crowds lately. wellfan
A really impressive 0–0 performance where we were unlucky not to take all three points. I honestly can’t remember being that nervous and entertained by a scoreless draw.
