dennyc
Was it not Ian McCall on Sportsound who was mouthing off about Askou being disrespectful? Then the media jumped on board but didn't really push it. Now it's being used to motivate Hibs players for Saturday. A bit like when the media fired us up by pointing out Celtic needed a five goal win at Fir Park to go top. McCall probably did not understand the comments being made as they were about modern planning and tactics.

He is worth a listen, if only to highlight how lucky we are at present. He is evidence dinosaurs still exist.
FirParkCornerExile
McCalls a cock and the fact he misrepresented what Askou said led to a pile of from other pundit dumbfucks. All Askou said was we played a game to stop Hibs creative players getting forward forcing Hanley to play a game that's not his natural game. He never said Hanley was pish, we just made him play a game that's not his normal role. It was media nonsence.
mio
I sort of think this could be the toughest game of the season tomorrow. Hibs aren’t a bad side and they are performing quite well at the moment. There’s no way we’ll do what we did to them at first park and with a full house it’ll be a tough gig especially without Watt. id be happy getting a draw tomorrow as I think that’d be a great result. if however, we come away with a win….. I think this could persuade me we do have a chance of winning this league…. No harm in me dreaming

However I'm reassured by the fact absolutely no team has dominated us this season in the league home or away. Our record of late at Easter Road is none too shabby. If Watt doesn't make it, as expected, this could be pivotal. Had he been available I'd go into this game with a degree of confidence without being cocky. wellfan
I’d take a 0–0 or low-scoring draw to keep the momentum going. A win isn’t beyond us though and would be a great marker for the season ahead in terms of league placing.

If we can play our regular possession game then perhaps we can come away with a win but the way Hibs are going at the moment a draw would be a good result, a win would be an excellent result. Hope the good Maswanhise turns up.
weeyin
Not specific to Lukas, but I'm always impressed when any player speaking a second language can handle a press conference with the Scottish journos.

There are no foreigners who speak English would ever dream of saying Should of I've did I've saw Unlike those in this country who get a decent free education and don't see anything wrong with those grammatical howlers. If you are Kris Boyd you can add "Rangersies" to that glorious list, e.g. "Rangersies troubles began" instead of "Rangers troubles began". It is even worse from him as he is getting paid good money to sound like an illiterate buffoon.

I really hope my grammar is spot on.

texanwellfan
Not sure what is wrong with Watt but if he is touch and go, I’d be tempted to start him V Hibs or at least have him on the bench and plan to rest him versus County in the cup game at Fir Park. If any doubt put him on bench and start priestman who looks more than capable
