Orinoco
Brilliant 1st half. Decided that 2 nil will do and that was that. As easy as you like.
weeyin
No bother. And not too taxing for the first game of our 5 game fortnight.
mio
Poorest half of football I’ve seen us play in a while but in the end apart from a couple of wee slips at the back, pretty comfortable. fadinger and Priestman didn’t put a foot wrong. I’d love to see their passes stats. Must be about 98% success.

Don’t think JBA will be pleased with second half I'm just wondering if that's JBA asking the team to sit on a lead and see the game out as practice for playing against the big teams. Can't see any other reason for such a poor second half.
texanwellfan
Second half not up to our usual standards of this season but other than Wards brain fart when he tried to dribble the on rushing forward they never really looked like scoring. Hope JK is alright

Some slack passing amd control. may not get away with that against other teams

Opponents aren't perfect either, so don't always score when they get the chance. Of course we want to minimize them, but not every mistake costs a goal. texanwellfan
Edging closer to clinching top 6 place Aberdeen need 6 games to overtake us amd only 9 games till the split. Although Dundee Utd might turn out to be the team challenging for top 6 rather than Aberdeen since Utd have games in hand
MJC
Great first half and the job was done by half time. Still unbeaten in that light blue Steelworks kit too

Of course, there's also a parallel universe where we lost half of the games we drew - sliding doors...
weeyin
The draws at the start of the season were part of the development process. You can't implement a completely new approach and have it work immediately. That was as true for someone like Klopp at Liverpool as it is for JBA at Fir Park. The key will be can we maintain and improve next season now that everyone knows what they are doing. If we can, then it will be an exciting one. I don't think it is quite over yet. I still believe that Hearts will fall back into the pack a little. IF we get a win against Dundee, the Rangers game becomes huge and could potentially drag us right back into the fight. I know it is a long shot but this season still holds much excitement. We still have to play Rangers, Celtic and Hearts twice. I am making an assumption now that top six is secured. Unbelievable to be making that statement in January. texanwellfan
Top 6 not secured yet but getting close. Definitely not given up hope of the unthinkable yet, especially if we win our next two games against Dundee and Rangers. everyone in the top 6 is capable of taking points off any other team. I haven't given up, and I think we will certainly have an impact on the final winner. At this stage, however, I'd rank us as very much a long shot. A legitimate chaser, but still a long shot. Might be different by the end of Feb.
