Maybe. But I wouldn't be surprised to see Sparrow, SOD, McGinn and Longelo starting.

That’s the other logical option, but I think he views Sparrow as more of a versatile impact sub for games like today. Plus SOD is a far better defensive RB.

joewarkfanclub
I wouldnt have Gordon near it. Celtic will isolate him and press him when he has the ball, much like we did with Hanley. However, the ball over Sparrows head in behind has proved a weakness as well, so will be interesting to see what Jens prefers......
MJC
Gordon starting in defence doesn’t inspire confidence but the reality is we’re short on options so don’t really have any alternative. However today pans out it’s going to be a big wake up call and reality check for anyone who seriously believes we are in any sort of contention for the league title. It’s absolute pie in the sky stuff because we are ten points behind the side in top spot and have failed to beat both Hearts and Rangers in five attempts between both of them and haven’t won away against any of the top six sides. It’s all well and good citing really good performances and “could have, should have” beaten Rangers twice at FP, “could have, should have” beaten Hearts at Tynecastle and “could have, should have” taken at least a point the last time we played at Celtic Park. The common theme from all of those games is “could have, should have, did not”. It’s been a good season and we’ve been great to watch but there is a limit to how good this team actually is and I think we have peaked now. I don't think we are in a title race realistically , but while it's mathematically possible just need to keep getting results. It is the closest we have been to the top of the league at this stage of a season since 1994 points wise, which is an achievement for me

Even if we beat Celtic, it will be a wake up call if either, or both of Hearts and Sevco win. Lets just focus on keeping Hibs below us as that will be a difficult task on its own. If we manage to hold onto 4th spot, that will be a magnificent achievement in JBA's first, and maybe only, season.

You may very well be right, and there's no way we are favourites today. However, I remember you suggesting we were highly unlikely to ever beat either Celtic or Rangers again not so long ago. We absolutely won't win all of our remaining games, but I don't see any of the other top 6 sides getting to the end of the season unscathed either. We'll cost someone along the way. No time like the present.
MJC
We have certainly met and surpassed expectations by a considerable distance this season and however it pans out its been an enjoyable one. We are not going to win the league and we were never in contention for it. It’s actually more those outwith our fanbase that have been talking about us as though we were in fairness. For us I think our target should be 4th which would represent an excellent season. I don’t think we’re out of things for 3rd quite yet but I’d say it’s just a bit beyond us and I’d expect to see the top three pull away from us in the coming weeks.
wellfan
This season has been fantastic and, as I’ve said before, 4th place is now ours to lose.
twistandshout1983
Yep been a fantastic season Another positive for me as well as results, performances and crowds is that fans of other clubs are talking about us in a positive way and know they are in for a tough game

joewarkfanclub
Glad Jens is going with SODs & McGinn in the middle. Should givebus more composure at the back. Need a big shift from Sparrow and the midfield so we get a grip of things and protect our goal. Hopefully JT, Just and Said will be on it up top.
