stv
Usual paper talk on a player Celtic and Rangers crap.Bidding war is good if we do decide to sell Watt. Good statement from chairman Kyrk stating clubs position on JBA if a big club came in for him and obvious we have been making plans behind the scenes. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/16291016/elliott-watt-asking-price-rangers-celtic-motherwell

Just really fed up with rebuilds and the massive Gulf in cash between us and others in league. Bob Dylan's still there though. Like MFC, he's changed his manager a few times with varying success. Spit_It_Out
If Watt goes to Celtic I shall mow the grass outside with my mouth! The personal abuse he got from the Celtic fans after being outspoken about that game was embarrassing so they can just behave with the AI generated bs. If he went then after 1 game would be valued at £25 million!! 🤣 I saw Cardiff linked so £2.5 million plus turnbull would be great piece of business

If Celtic meet or better the reportted £3 million price tag we have put on Watt, and the player wants to go and accepts the no doubt vastly improved personal terms on offer then he will be away to Celtic, thats how it works. Aye, but we dont have to like it! 😜😜😜 Hopefully that wont happen though. I dont want any of our guys staying in Scotland when they move on. Im sure they would be much happier in England or abroad! 😜😜😜
weeyin
Under most circumstances I agree about not wanting to sell our players to teams in the same league. If one of them came in with an offer of say, 4 million, for a player we picked up for free and who had given us an outstanding season, I'd be OK with that and chalk it up as a cracking bit of business.
AllyMax
It's effectively the close season. The papers have nothing to write about. Take any player from any team who the footballing press have noticed, link them to both Celtic and Rangers in an article with no reference source, hey presto. Clicks ! Next week it'll be Barney Stuart, some cunt from Hearts and some other clubs 'Player of the Year' winners. Remember, it was only a couple of days ago, our manager was going to Celtic. mio
Maswanhise to Anderlecht noise again. If we got £3m I’d be ok with that. Tough to replace but he’s been poor to an extent since February. I’d be less annoyed losing him than Watt/Just.

Losing one of them would be difficult enough but both is out of the question - I hope. If possible I’d like to keep Watt & Just until the European ties are done at the very least giving us time to bed in any replacements alongside Priestman if need be.

Unfortunately, I dont see Just being available for the initial European games, even if we havent sold him. He is going to the World Cup and will need a break after that for a couple weeks at least, which brings you pretty much right up to the date of the first game. He is a fit guy and probably wont have lost that much fitness in a short period of time, but Im sure we would want to ease him back into training before he plays a competitve game. Hope Im wrong, as he is absolutely essential to what we do.

He's back to missing sitters, sell him asap for as much as possible , gives time to look for a replacement, which hopefully we have been doing. He reminds me of a fast Higdon or Van Veen having a good two thirds of a season.
grizzlyg
Said before but I would punt Maswanhise asap, form since end of January poor and I just feel like Bair we cash in while value decent. Also just my view but if Rangers were serious about Watt then how about £2.5 million and Findlay Curtis?. Think that would be good business for players we signed for hee haw

Its a bit of a double edged sword. Circling vultures will know full well that he has the ability and think they can bring out the best in him. However, when dealing with MFC they'll plead that he's overachieved and they're doing us a favour by taking him off our hands for a fee (a modest one of course)

Unfortunately we are and always have been a selling club ………..it wouldn’t be ideal as both have been outstanding this season……….. as long as they don’t end up along the M74 / M8
