These saves are all very well but where’s the showreel of him playing sweeper and  triangles in his penalty area?

The one around 5:12 tells me he'll fit right in.

Rene Higuita was a master at that. He'd be worth a fortune these days with how teams play. Instead, he was seen as a novelty maniac back then when he was clearly ahead of his time.

Saying that, he did get jailed for being part of a kidnapping fiasco involving Pablo Escobar, so maybe he was a maniac regardless.

He could hit a tasty free kick as well...

The original El Loco with his scorpion kick.

Some of those saves make me think of Gunnar Neilsen's showreel with the way that he flaps at shots. Looks good with his feet though, so hopefully he'll turn out to be an asset.

Seems to be agile and a very good shot stopper. Apparently played outfield early in his career and looks to be  comfortable with the ball at his feet. Likes to save penalties as well. Should be a good fit for our system.

At first sight similar to Callum Ward, even down to the transfer fee. Not the biggest keeper in the world and I doubt he'll make it in the Premier League but good enough to help us out in our hour or season of need.  There's bucketloads of very good keepers in England so he'll have plenty of competition if he returns down there.

I always think that loans can be risky but in our situation, we probably didn't have much choice.

I suspect he'll be our no 1 and therefore I feel sorry for Matty Connelly but I can't ever see him being anything more than back up at best for us.
