Cardiff have bought a new midfielder for millions who plays in the same position. And he’s only had a few mins throughout pre season games. obviously we can’t buy him or afford his wages but surely a loan wouldn’t be out the question? Could be that midfielder to get us goals and create a bit in the final third. I think turnbull has always wanted to return to us at some point. I think wages would be main issue. I am actually surprised that hearts or hibs haven't made an approach

I’m sure he’s on his last 12 months of contract - A cheeky loan spell to get him back in the shop window . the only risk is another player who likes to see the the physio
mio
Even if we can pay a portion of his weekly earnings (a small portion) it should benefit him and also back in the Scotland shop window with the new manager. I’m sure he’s still only 25/26? as mentioned though, being injured so often has stalled his career. We don’t need another one in the treatment table. He had worked his way back into first team contention last season after yet another injury spell. I'd be worried he'd not be able to stay fit in the high press, high tempo game we want to play now. That's what finished him off at Celtic - losing his place through injury when they played a similar style, and never managing to reclaim it.
mio
Toulouse beaten 2-0 at home by Lyon tonight in their opening fixture. That Askou didn’t know how lucky he was at the ‘Well. they did play reasonably well right enough by all accounts.

We've done well out of add ons over the years so we cant complain when its done to us. However £600,000 add o aint too bad if we sell him for major money. mio
Different figures flying around everywhere with this. Potentially going up to €1m that’s unreal… shows some ambition and a bit of speculate to accumulate
Benson
I think we will lose 1 or 2 players very soon.

stv
He seems quite small at 5ft 7in. Hopefully a nippy wee midfielder that scores goals.

I imagine we expect 3 or 4 times return on that investment too. I agree, however, that we are likely to lose one or two more before the window. Happyhonest
Think this is the European money getting spent. player looks to be good. Really want to see what he can do as he seems to be getting a good write up and the fee we have paid. Still think we could be adding a couple for team depth now looks like Connelly Paulsen Sod G-R k-L Moorman McGhee (inj) McGinn (inj) Williams (inj) Johnny (inj) Wilson and Longelo looks like fadinger Whyte sparrow ( inj) priestman (inj) and hodge for dm lowry Cooke said vogt maswanhise ross and kanga for the attacking mid/ wingers thor (inj) stama (inj) hendry (inj) booth and PH for striker must think that Thor and stama will be back soon. I just get the feeling that as soon as someone is coming back someone else gets injured.
joewarkfanclub
This appears to be a great signing. A bit like Hodge, probably a bit more money than we would ever have looked at in the past, but with many more multiples possible in sell on fee if all goes well. Like all transfers, its a bit of a risk, but he looks an exciting prospect, so we need to trust the process. Think that will be us done now unless Fadinger, Longelo or Maswanhise go out the door. Hopefully not though. Would be nice to get the squad settled down at last.
Kmcalpin
If this comes to pass, he'd be some signing.

I don't think so Kanga seems to be a AM so shouldn't really affect Maswanhise if he departs we'll need another winger but outside that I can't see us doing anymore business that's us up to 28 players on the books who have featured for the first team 3 times or more. I know it was said they were training themselves as not ready to train with the squad but I feel that there’s possibility more to it than that.
