wellsince75
Im trying to convince myself that it doesn’t matter tomorrow . We’ve had a great season and either 4th or 5th I’m delighted with how the overall season has been . In reality desperate for a win , Keep it tight , keep the ball and take our chances . Really want to end on a high - no less than we all deserve .

Now we're all desperate to get 4th (and support Dunfermline in the final).

Kmcalpin
Rumours on P & B that the Ox has been recalled. What does that imply? He's not playing for the Pars tonight.

He got treatment at the time and was noticeably limping. Could just be a precaution if they brought Ox back as cover just in case. Big game for us so all bases need covered. Kmcalpin
Now official. Ox has been recalled. As Denny suggests I suspect Ward is carrying an injury. Will return to Dunfermline after tomorrow.
weeyin
Connelly to start then?

Orinoco
Connolly has to start. Ox could be the difference in us qualifying for europe. Poor at Hibs puts us 5th and then he keeps out Celtic to win cup and put us out. Not fair to put that kind of pressure on the lad.

Dunfermline wont keep out Celtic irrespective of who starts in goals, so there will be no pressure on him.

If there are any potential conflicts we can just terminate his contract before the final. Dunfermline sign him as a free agent. Win - win. Would also be entertaining if Ox helps relegate St Mirren.

thewelllfan
My team would be Ox Sparrow SOD Welsh Longelo Watt Fadinger Maswanhise Just RCC Hendry Connolly gives me the fear and played a significant role in the our cup exit in Aberdeen. Also if we recall Ox and don't play him what was the point i'm sure whatever youth GK would of been on the bench would of been fine.

I think connelly will start which does give me fear also Think you’re right on Connelly as Ox hasn’t really been involved with the squad . if RCC was to start I’d have him on the left with longello - that’s the best fit I’ve seen for him . suspect we’ll start with a very familiar line up , as much as I’d be tempted to drop TW the final game isn’t likely to be when this happens . Already feeling a bag of nerves , glad it’s an early kick off
