MelvinBragg
Jens wasn't appointed til 12th June last year and he had a major rebuild on his hands. I'd rather we took our time and got it right..
wellsince75
I thought it would be done by now tbh given the club will knew they’d have to replace . Leads to me suspecting we’ve not secured our primary preferred candidate(s) got to think something will happen this week . meanwhile credit to the club for keeping it tight , they manage that side of things well . fizoxy
We're pretty much on the same timeline as the last 2 appointments, and there's still plenty of time before pre-season. In theory, we could have started early because we knew JBA was leaving, but i believe it was similar with Wimmer.
Jonesy
Going off the same timescale as appointing both Wimmer and Jens we're looking at the end of this week for an announcement. I think on both occasions securing a work permit took over a week so there's a chance we already have our guy we're just waiting on the paperwork being official.
0Neils40yarder
The club manage to keep information in-house these days as opposed to the Burrows-era where everyone in Lanarkshire knew what the gossip at the club was. Appointing a new manager, specifically a new manager who fits the club, isnt always straightforward

Likewise Allan. Especially so given that the directors knew about JBA's intention to leave weeks ago. However, sometimes paperwork and bureaucracy can draw matters out.

Might be the boring option for some but I think he has earned the opportunity. Knows the players, has their respect and clearly bought in to the style of play. Will also be aware of the players we were looking at in the knowledge we were aware 3 or more first teamers would be moving on. For me, any appointment attaches risk but appointing MR would lessen that risk. Assuming he is comfortable as top man that is. Whatever happens I hope he is with us next season. That would seem a bit strange given that the directors knew that JBA was leaving months ago and we're now about 3 weeks past his actual departure. Nothing is impossible though. Spit_It_Out
Probably work permit issues maybe more than anything but would it shock me if Rogers got it then no but would that stop me from having Mo Malpas vibes no. Cant be too long now before we hear something me thinks.

Surely the club will want to avoid a publicity clash with the Scotland's opener at the World Cup? Probably paperwork issues as you say either involving a work permit or tying up detailed contract issues, which are becoming ever more complex. Surely Yogi doesn’t need a work permit? 😂😂
