Suprawell Posted 1 hour ago Report Share Posted 1 hour ago Interesting to see where HB are...currently 5th in their season, played 16, before playing us they come off a run of 3 wins, scoring 11 goals and conceding 2. Their last game was 5/7 with a break before they play us and then getting back to league action. I have to disagree about losing being terminal for Alfred. The whole Alexander thing was on the cards the end of the season before, Sligo defeat triggered that, plus his arrogance never helped. Fingers cross we get some signings in and HB really aren't that good. Jury will be out until the first 10 games so see how Alfred's doing for me. Selling three players could increase the budget by a lot. It may be a cautious approach but may make financial sense to the board, so far we have only sold a goalie for 800k not transfer busting money. Also any targets could be waiting until we have the projected millions in before final financial agreements are made . If we are flush targets could be promised or expect better terms.
