Appears they are reluctant to take such action and prefer to repeatedly ask very nicely for the culprits to stop. All very weak and ineffective. And having been in Helsinki I can guarantee it was not just Bois on the pitch. No mention of the beer throwing and that was not just them either, if at all. steelman1991
Pictures and video evidence would suggest that it wasn't just down to Block E, Bois or whatever they call themselves these days.
firparkfred
The punishment needs to be strong enough to deter them from behaving like that again, regardless of which section of the stadium they normally use or what age they are. The club cannot keep paying fines because a few idiots cannot behave themselves and act like adults. If that means banning them or closing a section of the stadium then it needs to happen. Sure that would be preferable. I also dont get the fixation with " are they bois/ block e? And people taking umbrage at being wrongly accused. It's not like an exclusive members club and in reality isn't a real organisation.

Club put out plenty warnings before hand. These folk don't care about the club and happily see club fined again. Club and well society really need to get this sorted. However......1400 fans there and 1390 were brilliant

wellfan
Anyone who chooses to obscure their face with a balaclava or similar at a football match, or anywhere else, has something to hide. santheman
I think the club have been more than patient with them (whoever they are and whatever group they congregate with before any apologist jumps in). I know the club like to promote this cuddly wee community club line where everyone is welcome and we're all Jock Tamsons bairns but they need to recognise that we have an element in our support that would appear to thumb their noses at that and they need dealt with pronto otherwise our reputation will slowly go down the drain. My particular gripe is the mess they leave with their penchant for plastering every available surface in away grounds with stickers and graffiti for which we've had to fork out a pretty penny to other clubs to remove. Grow up boys and support your team the proper way and don't spoil it for the majority. Your actions tonight is 2 fingers up to the club and your fellow fans.
firparkfred
As has been mentioned many times already, the club need to be hard with punishment and consequences for this ridiculous carry on. If they do nothing, these twats will continue to think they are above the law and keep embarrassing our club and giving us financial issues to clear up. We would definitely be better off without them. Surely it's gone too far and the board and Well Society need to see that the majority of Well fans have had enough. They surely must look at Steelmen Online etc and know how everyone feels about this nonsense. The question is, do they have the backbone or balls to do anything about it? We shall see!!
johnstone
I think that the flares being set off yesterday might result in a ban. I do understand the issues that have happened but these are guys who bring atmosphere to the games and more importantly pay at the gate to come and watch us. I am certainly not in the general age bracket of the bois (being an older gentleman) but it wasn’t long ago that part of the ground was empty and the atmosphere was non existent. The noise, the TIFOs the enthusiasm they bring has to remain in my view. because if it doesn’t the only noise you’ll hear is from the moany old bstrds like it was in the 80s. … and who take over these forums. they are important to the players too, it’s the first place they celebrate. If fines come, I agree there does have to be a systems where they contribute but to ban them, I’m very much in the no way bracket.
johnstone
I think the HJK incident was a bit unfortunate, people can lose it when a goal goes in, it wasn’t like they deliberately broke the advertising board. The blocking paths, can’t just be attributed to one group and is again a very minor issue. The fan at Fir Park at the Frieburg game, again is one guy who probably could be dealt with separately. So other than that they bring the noise and go above and beyond with the displays. But I do think the flares last night was a bit poor especially after the message that went out days before. Like another guy said, it felt a little like two fingers up to the club.

Their contribution to matchdays is immeasurable, but they can make noise and create an atmosphere without lighting up pyros, no? I agree about the masks - leave that shite to the spiderhuns - they don't belong at 'Well games.

Yep, time wearing face coverings for no other reason than to obscure your identity was an offence, that also goes beyond football fans

I understand that they pay at the gate but the fines will definitely be considerably more than they contribute financially. They surely need to understand that there need to be consequences for their behaviour. They cannot be bigger than the club or the majority of the fans. They are also showing young fans that they are getting away with it and as a result it will continue. Do we keep ignoring the flare incidents until someone gets seriously injured? They definitely have a lot of pluses in their favor and so easily coukd have an untarnished reputation if they just follow the rules. Them bringing in money by being paying fans is very easily eradicated by the outgoing money required to pay fines. Once they (whoever they are) start costing the club money repeatedly then it is better without them. Would rather have them at the games but at some point you have to draw The line and say no more.
