Said for a while he was the League top scorer with Motherwell who wouldn't have wanted stupid money for him but he's still here. For me that says a lot ?

I felt heart sorry for Willy tonight,  nothing happened for him and looks devoid of any confidence. 

Also I thought the drum at times can be annoying but jeez that swanee whistle in cooper stand should be used on criminals for a confession 🤣🤣

Even when we went 2-0 up there was always that nagging doubt for me. Especially against Dundee Utd at home where we have surrendered two goal leads on more than one occasion even when it hasn’t always resulted in us losing or drawing the game. It’s just traditionally been a fixture where we can never fully relax when two goals ahead (3-1 up in ‘91, 2-0 up and only drawing at home in 1999, the 4-5 game in 2005 - say no more). But tonight we just looked comfortable and home and dry once that third goal went in.

2nd half he was soooo frustrating.  Like you say only way he gets a move is getting amongst goals and back to form

I thought he had a good first half but struggled second half. Just got top lay thru it and keep trying. 
Wee hat trick at the weekend will work wonders for him.

Really? That's interesting. I didn't notice that.

This is hardly definitive but the taxi-driver who took us to the airport a fortnight ago said that he quite often picked him up at FP after training and found him cocky and rather unpleasant. One of JT's comments was, "The manager won't be there next season and neither will I."

By contrast, Paulsen, whom he also picks up quite often,  sounds a great guy, happy to be here and very modest and positive about the club.

I don't really feel Maswhanise  is a team player and his niggling annoys me too: it's going to cost  us one day. It will be interesting to see what Alfred does with this recalcitrant member of the squad. I actually was hoping he'd bog off to Anderlecht and the club could bank a wad for him.

Or perhaps there will be some Turkish delight for us  before their window closes tomorrow.

Taxi driver sounds like lad I was at school with as he almost said same about Maswanhise earlier in year

Some lovely football and great goals, thought we were  wasteful from some great moves in the first half. Sure we were up against 10 men but you can only beat whats in front of you and we did. Lowry was outstanding.

I'm done with Manwanhise. He does not merit being an automatic fist choice. Windows closed so hes not going anywhere time to let him know his performances are deserving of his arse being on the subs bench.

With players coming back from injury and plenty options then Maswanhise needs to up his game or he will be in bench.   Williams, RCC, Kanga, Sparrow, Said all options in wide roles

I confess I was frustrated with him 2nd half but funny when you see highlights and things you miss.  Also utd red card not as wild as I first thought....but hey ho 🤣🤣

Well, that was a good night out. The sending off certainly helped, but I felt that it was justified at the time, and I've not changed my opinion having seen it on Sportscene.

I felt that, for all the neat build up play, it was going to be a long night. The Utd. keeper made some smart saves and there was some poor finishing before big Seb put one away. Great technique and a lovely finish.

We seemed to lose concentration a bit for 10 minutes after that and the game got a little too open, but settled again and took complete control. The possession stats must be very one sided, and the pass count must be off the charts.

Once the second went in there was no way back for Utd. A wonderful goal in build up and execution from Lowry. He really is showing us what he is capable of. 

The third, by Levitt, was another neat bit of interplay and a tidy finish.

I guess that I was a bit disappointed that the team then decided that 3 was enough and spent the remainder of the game controlling possession and conserving energy. Very understandable, but I would have liked them to go on and get another couple.

Anyway, nothing much to complain about. A good time to be a Well fan.

Tawanda is getting some amount of stick on here. That’s 4 games into the SPL season. 1 goal and 2 assists. He is not a natural goal scorer, never was and is now back in his best position on the wing. He has also been wearing an awkward face mask. I think give him a chance to get back to his best.

Good performance.

3 good goals.

Team looks like they are really enjoying themselves.

We now look like we have a deep squad and can make like for like substitutions without weakening us.

Things are shaping up nicely.

Not sure I get the Maswanhise comments tonight. I have been critical of some of his performances since February. However he worked his socks off tonight working back and continually showed for the run in behind only for the ball to never come. Sure he tried a few things that didnt come off, but he never hid and kept wanting the ball.

Happy for him to get stick when he deserves it, but Im not sure he did tonight.

Watched the game at my hotel (internet better in reception area) about to say the same thing and I’m one of his critics for constantly ignoring better options - happy with his performance tonight.

I also had no issues with JT this evening. He plays much better from wide right, and was involved in a lot of our play. Unlucky not to sneak that one in at the far post in the first half.

We're still not as dynamic in the final third, but you can see the potential if we start making better decisions around the box.

2 cracking goals and a very good 3rd.
