It kind of feels like we were due that against Hibs. What with the disallowed goal that denied us a win at the start of the season, the disallowed goal that might have changed the course of the game in the defeat before Christmas we've had no luck against them. I suppose you could say we'd no luck today either, but then none was needed with as accomplished a display as we've put in all season. I think you just have to give everyone so much credit for the turnaround after Hamilton and St Johnstone. There was the potential for things to go right off the rails but they dealt with the pressure of that well in midweek in gaining a good point in Paisley and they have built on that in exactly the manner you would hope today. Everyone has stood up and reacted positively to the challenge and they can be well pleased with their efforts from the last few days. We were fully deserving of the win today. Two very well taken goals with a little finesse in the build up, one quite outstanding save Kelly and a performance built on hard work, organisation and very good defending. Excellent stuff that would have seemed difficult to believe possible on either of the previous two Saturday evenings.5 points

If that's all you've got to moan about, today must have been a good day mate2 points

So many choices today, with everyone to a man playing their part. Lamie edges it for me though, his performance level has improved significantly under Alexander and he set the tone early on today with two very clean tackles. He also deserves recognition for holding the defence together when he has an absolute novice alongside him.2 points

If you got relegated off 2 defeats in a row we'd be playing in league sponsored by the local corner shop!2 points

In with a shout, and much less stressful to be looking up the table. I'd also suggest that as part of the ground renovations we build a nice comfy chair for Alexander in the O'Donnell stand. I think he'll be there more often than the Centenary Club members.2 points

Hopefully we can all stop talking about relegation? It was never on the cards and I hope everyone can now enjoy sitting on their couch with dry boxers. The performance of the season...guys like Lamie, Crawford, Maguire and Robert's have taken some abuse this season but today they were excellent. Kelly ripping the pish out of Cadden was even more enjoyable than the goals Heres to dry knickers2 points

That's as complete a performance from the team since we last played Hibs at Easter Road. never saw that result coming at all. Pleased for Lammie he's taken absolute pelters (deservedly so at times) today he was immense. Another of my big doubts (Crawford) had a fabulous game but every one of them performed and if Roberts is the worst player Hearts fans have ever seen they must have some player pool. So frustrating now those 6 points thrown away. Mind you that's Motherwell over the back , the what could have been team.1 point

Roberts for the goal and the assist, but there wasn't a bad Motherwell player on the park, another great team effort.1 point

Alexander got asked about it on Radio Scotland, but just trolled Brian McLauchlin "What about the sending off?" "What a brilliant result" "What about the sending off though?" "How good were my players?" repeat a few times1 point

Massive result. Didn't see the game so can't say much but it seems to have built on what we got midweek and the three in midfield and up front works well enough when you have the right personnel. Sooner we can guarantee safety the sooner we can look to next season (or focus on the cup if it ever happens). Very good day all round as we improved our position on killie and Accies.1 point

Every single player played the way I want to see Motherwell players perform...industrious, in the opposition's faces...an argument could be made for almost every player to be motm... ...but Kelly gets it for me, for sending that wee bam Cadden to the shops1 point

Performance of the season for me - I know we were good at pittodrie earlier in the season but to perform like that today under the pressure we were under was terrific to see. The jobs nowhere near done though and have to guard against any complacency. what pleased me the most today was the performance levels of some of those who have been written off as not good enough for Motherwell, and I myself have been guilty of that. Lamie, Crawford and Robert’s to name but three were all terrific today1 point

Actually I don’t mind Alexander getting sent off, I would rather we had a manager with fire in his belly than one that spend the game sitting in the dugout saying nothing.1 point

So Declan has now made that appearance that some of the all-knowing worthies of this forum said he would never make...what we talking about now?1 point
