There were several games when he didnt do any running at all. No one denies his value to the team. No one says he should have been dropped. Everyone realises his goals have kept us up. But the difference in body language, effort and general application now compared to January is night and day. It doesnt make you a hater to offer constructive criticism when you can see a senior player could be doing more. Personally Im delighted that he has rediscovered his mojo. I desperately hope he smashes the 30 goal mark and gets POTY. I just find it amusing how anyone offering constructive criticism of a good player gets it tighter on here than the boo boys who just slaughter players indiscriminately..........4 points

For me Not binning Hammell quick enough cost us a top 6 chance and a longer run in the Scottish cup.3 points

I seriously detest that cunt. I'd airbrush him out of every Motherwell Team Photograph with him in it. A horrible horrible bastard3 points

The only criteria involve the arse cheeks, make sure they get 19 home games each, even if it affects the teams still with something to play for, then make sure that Celtic can't win the league at Ibrox. They also have to worry about the first game after the title is settled being at Ibrox to avoid the embarrassment of Rangers not applauding the Champions onto the park. Once that is sorted they just pull the other games out a hat.3 points

Well done to those of our support who braved the extreme conditions at Parkhead SIWY3 points

If you want to get any pleasure out of football, it's a good idea in general to avoid listening to what players have to say. There are a few exceptions, but mostly you'll end up disappointed. (The same, of course, is true for famous actors, musicians, players from other sports etc.) Sometimes you can't avoid it, but most of the time it's pretty easy. Back to the game, it looks like Celtic's point was a good result compared to Rangers. It's a rare and fine weekend when both sides of the OF are unhappy. Long may it continue.2 points

Agree Grizzly, Butcher in particular is the captain we've missed for quite some time. Re Slattery, he looks yard slow and this causes him to be late for tackles, give away several free kicks and ultimately get booked in most games he plays. I believe he's a decent playery, if he was able to get himself into physically better shape I think we'd see a much better player. Slattery , Goss and Spittal all regularly get slated as a pack but they're all completely different players who add value. All have got positives that they add but none are the complete player - hence they play for us and not at a higher level.2 points

Underrated player with us for some reason, but one of McLean's signings that started the transition from parking the bus to winning the cup.1 point

Met Peter at a lot of the Motherwell reserve games, he's better company than Tom Boyd1 point

My recent posts about Celtic and Tom Boyd have been based on my own experience of them and my opinions on them based on that. To be clear, a man who has openly disrespected us as a club on more than one occasion and has annoyed and showed disdain to Motherwell supporters, including Tam Cowan at a club event (itâs been mentioned on here before). And is associated with a club who have signed several players from us on the cheap, who regularly bully and control the rest of Scottish football for their own means and whoâs supporters often openly glorify the death of one of our 91 Cup winning heroes and who label anyone who doesnât like them as âa Rangers fan without the bus fareâ and imply that to show dislike of Celtic automatically means a dislike of RCs and the Irish. Now whatâs not to like about people and football clubs with outlooks like that? To suggest that anything that I have said about either has been examples of âred white and blue tinted hate everything green and white bigotryâ is completely and utterly unreasonable and lacking any basis or rational thought. Im sorry if I hurt your feelings over Tom Boyd and Celtic mind you x1 point

i am surprised peter grant can actually talk after his operation ?? to get colin oneils elbow removed from his gub .. VAR woildv had a field day with that one1 point

No. Itâs just straightforward having an ability and willingness to think for myself and form my own opinions based on my own personal experiences as opposed to being a sheep and conforming to groupthink mentality. And to suggest that disliking Celtic more than Rangers equates to âred white and blue tinted hate everything green and white bigotryâ is absolutely moronic talk. Even âbigotedâ moronic talk if the word âbigotedâ is applied correctly according to dictionary definition. adjective: obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, in particular prejudiced against or antagonistic towards a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group. "they're pandering to a vocal minority of ill-informed and bigoted individuals"1 point

I couldn't stand Grant as a player but as a 'Celtic minded' pundit he's actually okay and usually reasonable in his comments. Compare and contrast him to Tom Boyd with his dribbling whining and chip on the shoulder about anything and anyone out with Celtic then Peter Grant is night and day.1 point

Yep Butcher been immense, the interesting teaser is, do we keep in defence or move him into midfield next season, personally if it ain't broke....but we need to get Casey signed up. The 3 midfielders do get stick on and off though at least don't get booed like poor SOD, still don't understand what he has done apart from playing poorly. Once safe I look forward to see what Kettlewell's plans are for summer and how he sees us playing. COYW PS. Was talking to guy I know who worked in the post office counters but had to give up job due to bad skin allergy handling lots of coins, I asked him how his hands were these days and he said "No Change!!" Ba boom.... happy Sunday folks1 point

KVV was tremendous yesterday but just outdone by Liam Kelly . He was back to his best yesterday . Some tremendous saves. Loved his wee impersonation of someone who was getting his broken leg reset without anaesthetic . .Brilliant watching the seeth he created around the stadium . It was comedy gold1 point

People always go for a black and white situation...e.g hammel bad mgr, ketts good mgr I think so much of it comes down to Casey and Butcher and the difference theyve made Kvv missed 2 open goals whilst hammel was here, v livi and Dundee utd , that's not down to the manager. We ended up drawing both, now he's cracking them in for fun... ...it honestly is fine lines1 point

RE KVV - I think him along with Butcher seem to be the 2 guys in the team who seem to have a bit of an 'X Factor ' about them. Not just the quality they offer, but their ability to raise the level of the team as a whole. On current form, we could probably lose a Spittal or a McGinn without affecting the performance as a whole too much, take away one of those 2 though (or both), and the whole thing could fall apart. As others have said, with talents like KVV, they can blow hot and cold but ultimately they're the type of players that get a lot of folk through the turnstiles... you just never know what might happen! Getting a bit ahead of myself but I'm increasingly starting to think he'll be away in the summer, and deservedly so in fairness. Wouldn't accept any less than 1m though.1 point

Wonder if anyone at Parkheid has managed to untangle Greg Taylor yet!! đđ, KVV had him in oot in oot like the hokey cokey1 point

Our defence was so deep it took an age before the lads caught up with KVV to congratulate him. Nice touch to see the lovely Sellick stewards get off their lardy arses to stand in his presence. Great pick-out from Spittal to unleash The Phenomenon. Could watch this on a loop all day.1 point

Maybe focusing on his passing accuracy, under 64% so far this season. Which some would say is below stinking1 point

The only criticism of van veen earlier in the season was for not telling hammell to GTF for having no one within 40 yards of him on a weekly basis. he shouldnât have been the doing the running for others1 point

For me the best result against them ever was skippy Sunday, they thought the league was won and they fecked it up, the sight of thousands of green and white clad greetin faces all over Fir Park will never be forgotten a classic GIRUY moment.1 point
