I know it's hard for folk to see it right now and I in no way excuse his shocker but he had some outstanding saves, we could have been down and out before his fuck up.4 points

Love the style Motherwell playing out from the back , wouldn't change it but needs fine tuned and a bit of common sense when half the opposition are in your penalty box.4 points
-
From the moment they equalised that was only going one way. They were in full panic mode and didn't know what to do. Qué the goalie literally handing them a goal and their tails were up. Never got a foot on the ball from that moment on.4 points

To lose 3-2 at sellik and be gutted shows how much progress we have made but I hate criticising players but that's 6pts Ward has cost us. No point playing all that good football when you have a keeper that does that.3 points

Really looking forward to this one today, but it’s the hope that kills you in the end. As I said before, a draw would be a good result.3 points

That was an absolutely gutting defeat. Ward obviously should have lashed that one when there was no pass on, but you have to look at the positives at least, one being that we didn't go to parkhead and lie down or try to play for a draw, and we ran the team that will inevitably win the league as close as its possible to do without talking something out of the game. We're still in the early stages of implementing a new system. Surely to god no one is expecting that to be running like clockwork in less than a 1/4 of a season ? Implementing that kind of change in less than a season is ambitious surely. I think we need to bear in mind that Celtic brought a player off the bench who cost them 1.3 times our annual turnover in transfer fee alone, never mind what he's probably earning. The gulf in available player quality for the clubs respective turnovers is huge. Finger pointing and laying blame for defeats under those circumstances is pointless. They are also the first team we've failed to dominate possession wise this season. I'm as devastated as anyone can be about losing today cause it was there for the taking, but in the grand scheme of things we've improved immensely this season and will continue to do so.2 points

There is no point ward making 6 great saves a game then one absolute howler. Yes JBA wants us to be brave but there are times when common sense should kick in. Sorry but Ox needs to be given a chance2 points

If the pass hadn’t gone astray and got to the intended Motherwell player then Ward would have taken out 5 of the Celtic outfield players with one pass, leaving plenty of room for out midfield and strikes to exploit. Yes it’s risk and reward football which when it works is beautiful but when it goes wrong, like today, horrendous. I’m still a believer in it so won’t get too upset about it. Celtic got the breaks today, FFS their penalty came from a McGregor mis-hit shot that bounced up off the ground. It's all ifs, buts and maybes but they definitely got the luck today.1 point

Just watching Sportscene. First half the maswanhise shot from the tight angle. Keeper saves it then think it’s Carter Vickers simply plays it back to him and Schmeichel catches it. Wtf?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

He can make lots of types of errors/mistakes then? That don't make it better. I'm with Grizzly. Hoped the best for him but he's costing us points. He also can't command his area and can't deal with crosses. Falkirk goin to put pressure on him on next game , knowing he's liable to make error and test him with crosses also.1 point

Sorry but WTF? What did those three do today that merited that? Gordon had a good game today, made some crucial interceptions and a few good forward passes. SOD’s being that good this season so far that some folk were wondering why he’d been dropped. McGinn’s just back from injury and played well today. Not one of them were at fault for the goals conceded today so why single them out? ward made 1 horrible pass that gave them a goal and a few saves that kept us in the game before and after it. Yes it pisses me off that we didn’t get anything from the game but I’m not going to go off on one about the keeper never mind players who did feck all wrong today.1 point

I'm as disappointed as the next fan but have seen it all before and many times at that. I wasn't expecting anything today. Just as I'm not going overboard about our new type of play I'm not going overboard about yet another defeat at Parkhead.1 point

It is pal, that's what makes it so frustrating today. If we beat buddies in cup and sellik win we at least have some belief1 point
-
You could argue that he’s doing the basics, making the saves you’d expect him to make, but then undoing it all with mistakes he simply shouldn’t be making. Those errors have already cost us too many points this season, and it just can’t go on.1 point
-
Exactly it's his judgement in question at the moment not the style of play we have adopted.1 point

Correct Ward will take the heat off Priestman for his absolute fuck all effort to prevent the 3rd goal. Stood with his finger up his arse admiring the view as the Celtic player strode into the box to receive the pass to set up the goal. Osong is utterly dreadful too1 point

Bombscare goalie, a weak bench, and pure naivety. It undoes all the good we show and it can’t go on. We’ve got three winnable games before the semifinal and we need at least 6–7 points to lift us for the cup game.1 point

That’s a tough one to take. Although we tired, I still think we would have came out with at least A point if we hadn’t gifted them their second goal. We Know that playing the way we do there will be mistakes from time to time costing us a goal but it’s hard to take when it costs us points. Different when you give a goal away but still win 3-1. Desperately need Slats, Just and Sparrow back and available so we can maintain our energy level the last 20 minutes.1 point

Disappointed but we deserved nothing today. If you defend like that you take what's coming.1 point

Gutted The issue today is lack of bench strength - we were blowing from 60 mins onwards and have too many injuries at the moment . felt we gave a good account of ourselves.1 point

He’s not a fan. He’s an attention seeking, doom laden troll who gets off on us losing - and then thinks that he has some powerful insight when his negative predictions sometimes (by the laws of probability) are correct. Ignore and concentrate on the proper fans.1 point

I reckon thats why he's benched, in case Mcginn doesn't make the whole game. If Mcginn has to go off, we're only disrupting one position. If SOD had started at RB and had to replace McGinn later, you'd be making two changes to a four man defence. Just a theory though, I could be talking shite 🙂 Also, think Johnny K offers more attacking threat.1 point

I keep forgetting about Sparrow, he’s been out for ages too. A good squad player to bring off the bench when energy levels are dropping.1 point

And that'll be a Bair hat trick then. Not bad against the team 3rd in the League whereas Lausanne are at the other end of the table.1 point

Bookies have obviously listened to MJC - 12/1 Well win. I have loved hearing opposition fans booing their teams off at half-time (and even leaving after 60 mins) after being completely outclassed. Don't normally go near Parkhead, but going along tomorrow in the hope that the bookies (and MJC) might just have this one wrong. 🫣1 point

We have literally beaten Rangers twice at Ibrox in the last 2 seasons with teams that were much poorer than this one, having failed to do so in the previous 27 years. We havent beaten Celtic at Parkhead for a while, but we have had a couple of creditible draws. Again with much poorer teams than this. Nobody is getting carried away here. No one is saying we are going to pump Celtic, we may well lose. But if you cant allow yourself to have just a little hope right now, Im not sure when you can. Isnt that what following a shite wee diddy club is all about? PS you do know we have scored more goals than Celtic this season, despite not having a striker like Higdon or KVV?1 point

Ahh they’re “there for the taking” then How many times have we seen one of them lose just before they play us and our fans convince themselves we can ‘take’ them? But we never do and Sunday will be no different. For all we have been playing some good football this season, the most enjoyable in years, we only managed to register our first league win thanks to a goalkeeper blunder and a penalty kick in stoppage time. We could easily have been 2-0 down at half time and if we play like that against Celtic we will be punished. We also aren’t nearly clinical enough up front so we can forget about taking anything off Celtic. Welsh out will be a big loss at the back. We have come on a fair bit this season, but we’re not ready for Celtic.0 points
