  1. To be honest I didn't think any of the crosses Higdon was on the end of tonight were "great" ... all far too floaty, he was having to do too much of the work that a good whipped cross would have done for him.
  2. Medium Wave goes a long way... Have had decent Radio Scotland reception in Bristol, Cambridge, Bournemouth and Dublin over the years!
  3. Tommy McLean reflects on the Katowice experience: http://www.thesun.co.uk/scotsol/homepage/sport/spl/4461576/Fans-had-to-shine-car-headlights-on-to-the-pitch-so-we-could-train-for-our-first-European-tie.html
  4. Great idea. Pity I'll be underneath it so I'll no' see it
  5. Yup. Don't get to wear the CL patches on the strips until the group stage, either.
  6. Haven't seen the whole thing, but they posted a closeup of the badge on their Facebook page: http://ow.ly/i/LAuq/original
  7. I still remember John McKeever's, too.
  8. Certainly used to be free, have had a couple of announcements done in the past. Most recent one was 4 years ago now, mind.
  9. Depends what you mean by "big". But in terms of "never thought it would happen in a million years", "most goosebumps when the teams run out", then it's certainly right up there.
  10. Leeann Dempster seemed to think it would be nearer £200k when she was asked about it on MFC TV a while back, although I don't know what might have changed since we found out who we were playing. Can't imagine it would triple the income, though.

1-1 Full Time, as Ojamaa misses a half-chance to win it with the last kick of the ball. Decent work out for most of our key players, certainly wasn't the pedestrian kick about that these things can often be. Centre of defence still looking a bit weak, though.

Dunno I'm afraid, only seeing the subs listed once they've come on, with no numbers -- Hollis, Faddy, Kerr and Daley so far, and can't really make out the shirt numbers on the video stream too well!

Tsk, stepped out for five minutes and missed Faddy coming on for the 'Well (along with Kerr and Daley)… now Steven Naismith coming on for Everton to a chorus of boos!

1-1 'Well -- Law belter from edge of the box!

Gibson, Junior, Rodwell and Jelavic on for Everton at HT. No word on any 'Well subs yet… Edit: Looks like Hollis came on for Randy at HT.

Duh, just noticed the starting lineups are below the video stream: Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Distin, Duffy, Neville, Osman, Coleman, Fellaini, Cahill, Vellios, Anichebe Motherwell: Randolph, Hammell, Law, Hateley, Humphrey, Ojamaa, Higdon, Murphy, Lasley, Ramsden, Cummins

Missed the start on Everton TV so didn't catch the line-ups, but looks like most of our first team out there at the moment. Humphrey, Murphy and Law linking up well, Higdon missed a couple of half chances, Tim Howard with a couple of saves to make.
