You never know we might fluke it like we did at Kilmarnock but one sure way to make mauling likely is give Hibs endless free possession and invite them on to us by booting it high and long to no cunt. Frankly we play that kind of game too often for me to think we will play any differently at Easter Road.

100% correct, to listen to some on here you'd think we were asking Motherwell to play like a top European team. How the fuck folk can sit and watch the ball being booted long and high for 90 mins and losing possession 99 times out a hundred and think that's trying to play footbal is beyond me.

I didn't say every week I said more often than not and over the last 10 games played reasonably well in 3 games the rest have resembled basketball rather than football.

Is expecting a team of professional footballers to try and play football really comparing our game to EPL. I frankly am comparing to what I watch in the Spfl. Dundee v Rangers game for instance. Dundee don't have a squad any better than ours and they rarely hoofed the ball. They got it down and tried to play it on the pitch.

Possession doesn't really worry me, its how we use it when we have it that matters. Hoof ball is just utterly pointless especially when we never win the second ball.

This season its dross more often than not. Awful against Ross County , Awful against Hibs, Awful against Dundee, Awful against St Mirren , Awful against Celtic ... all recent games. Aberdeen game we played for 15 mins and couldnt do bugger all against 10 men. I've followed Motherwell home and away every week for 50 years. Have been a season ticket holder for 50 years. I'm well aware of what being a Motherwell fan is and what to expect. I'm not expecting world beating football but Im expecting us to try and play football. Booting the ball high and long all day is not trying to platy football and we play that style far to often this season.

Pretty much the same as he says after each shite performance. He says they can play better than that so why do they not try. These hoof ball aimless punt performances are far too frequent for it not to be deliberate and if its not deliberate why cant he stop them playing like that

Not when you look at other clubs, Kilmarnock are disproportionate , its not huge but their pitch definitely gives them an edge. Big difference between Accies and Kilmarnock. Accies will rarely have the standard of player that Kilmarnock have.

I dont think they do. Kilmarnock have only lost 15 of their last 69 matches at Rugby Park (22%). Of their last 75 away games they've lost 40 (54%). Their pitch does give them an advantage, its a shite surface that they are used to. You also compare how often Kilmarnock have beaten both Rangers and Celtic at Rugby Park on the artificial surface and compare the same record every other club has against the OF at home and Kilmarnock are out front. 5 times versus Rangers since 2019 and 4 times versus Celtic since 2019 .

At least one of those fluffed ones was because the ball he was given was pish, it was put behind him instead of a ball in front of him. A few things didnt come off for him but he put in a shift and won quite a few balls for us. For me apart from 15 mins before half time thought we were rotten. Had Aberdeen scored with the one that hit the bar we'd have has a nail biting second half. He has but hes not as good as some Motherwell fans think he is. Ball control goes from brilliant to woeful. First touch likewise. That touch from the great cross ball that landed at his feet in the 18 yard box in the first half was a shocker.

That is more of a reflection of the utter shite we were up against. We were fuckin horrendous and Hearts dominated the game for 80 mins and they were hanging on at the end, that is how good they are. SK is far too defensive in his mindset. Put your mortgage on us rescuing Aberdeen.
