Glad someone else said it first.
I'm as hopeful as anyone but Celtic still have it in them to absolutely scud us tomorrow.
Could anyone see St Mirren beating them to win the cup, could anyone see Kilmarnock beating them to win the cup ..... we will win tomorrow may not be silky may not be pretty but Im convinced this is our time. Im generally the biggest pessimist on the planet about Motherwell but I just got a feeling. They were pish against Ross County they do have bad games Scottish Teams too often are beat in their heads before they play them thats half the problem.
Most Motherwell fans wrote us off before the Rangers game too

Im.not very good at all this stuff. Any specific ad blocker? Do you download it and it automatically gets used with the link? Or do you download it once the link is opened up?
Use Mobdro and you wont need an add blocker you may get a 15 second ad before the channel open but thats it never anything interrupting the games or the view.

cricfree.sc works for me on my laptop - there will be a game link on there, or you can just hit the BT Sport 1 link in the left menu.
Use of an adblocker highly recommended.

McCall drained any enthusiasm I had out of the last cup final, I went out of duty but never even thought 1% that we could win. A solid week of McCall bleating on about how much our budget was being cut and how good Celtic were did me in
How refreshing that this time, even though Celtic are 10 times better, Im looking forward to sunday and am even confident of us winning!
McCall , Butcher and McGhee were a nightmare in the lead up to big games against the OF.They always spent the week getting their excuses in and Ive always been convinced they had the players accepting "oh well its OK to lose cos thats whats expected" I hate that mentality it runs through Scottish Football like a cancer.

Celtic and Rangers used to get absolutely everything going but I genuinely don't think that's the case anymore. I seem to recall McGeady getting a red card in 2009 vs Hibs for diving and it felt absolutely monumental that a ref had the balls to do that. Since then, they've had a share of bad decisions. Not necessarily a fair share, but a share nonetheless.
That said - I think you are 100% right about Celtic getting every 50/50 going. Celtic will be looking for anything to turn into advantage and Rodgers grabbed the first chance with both hands by wading into the Bowman / Cardoso fiasco at the first opportunity. That was the start of his gameplan and the message will be right through the squad to make our physicality look illegal.
Ref's need to be smart and strong - unfortunately we don't have many smart and strong refs in Scotland.
I totally agree the number occasions where the diddies have won in the cups against the OF in the last 10 years is incredible. Its almost as if the authorities finally realise multiple winners boost or game. That said the big crowd and Celtic trying to con the ref could play a huge part.

Aye, credit to the gaffer. Aberdeen won at Fir Park by adjusting to our tactics from the cup game - so well done for addressing that in this game.
and they were still lucky to win even that game...

I felt a little shit about not being able to afford to contribute towards the display. I have been trying to teach myself a bit about video editing so thought I would throw something together as a sort of video from the fans. Sifted through all the footage from the cup run and put bits together, its by no means a work of art. I made up this account and a youtube account to put it on because I don't want any credit for it. Mods can probably work out who it is, but outside of that, dont really want anyone knowing or putting my name to it, the idea being it isnt by one person but from all of us. Was in two minds about wither to actually put it up or not, wasnt sure what kind of reaction it would get. Anyway, for what it is, I hope you enjoy. Feel free to spread it around.

Thats the most Ive shouted at a ref in years.
Some of the challenges Dundee put in in the first half were atrocious. They were literally rolling about after any aerial challenge also. Thoroughly unlikeable team.
The ref lost the plot and that pass back decision was inexplicable!
We shouldve had a penalty second half and Bigirimana and Moult both missed excellent chances at the end.
Not the most polished performance and the subs didnt necessarily work but a great win, even more so after Sundays exertions.
I thought Fisher was excellent.
Pretty much as I saw it but have to add defensively we were excellent Kipre and Hartley then McHugh were standouts in centre defence

if my old memory serves me right we played Celtic 3 times in 8 days in 1991 when we went onto win the cup. Beat them in the league at Parkhead drew semi final and won the replay.

What end do you think well get? Presume it makes logistical sense we keep the east as its easiest to access from Motherwell and we were there on Sunday....

I see the SPFL and the two clubs are in discussions over ticketing to prevent another Hibs.
That should take two minutes , they ask Motherwell how many we want we say 20,000 and set a date by which those 20,000 need sold, say 4 days before the final. What Motherwell do not sell by that date are automatically passed over to Celtic. Its only Scottish Football that could make a meal of a simple concept such as the Hibs allocation

If the crowd was 44,000 and Rangers had sold 38,000 that means our sales amounted to just 6000 yet im sure I read we had 8500 sold

Ref was a joke from start to finish and all the media hype about the game is to distract everyone from how pish Rangers are and how well Motherwell played
Rangers should have been down to 9 men and I would also add Bowman should have walked too, so may be it was a good thing the ref was pish
sadly this will just give the ref for the final lots of reasons to book Well players
I certainly think Brendan Rodgers will play on it leading up to and during the game. Was just watching game again and Sutton mentioned retrospective action against Alves that would be a worry cos they might look at Moult too.

So many to choose from. John Spencer from half way line at St Johnstone, Stevie Kirk at Pittoidrie in SC ... but im going for Ainsworth to go 3-0 up at our hardest venue (Ibrox) in our most difficult season sheer joy from inside our own half a sweeping move of pure joy. Had that not been scored we might not have had yesterday to enjoy. Stevie Kirks Goal in the SC semi against Celtic nearly got it because I knew then Id see my team in the SC final for 1st time ever.

What a result like this proves to me is that they are not the same club they were before liquidation. The old club would never have had to put up with a referee who had not been fully briefed at the previous lodge meeting. When even the refs think they are done, there is no coming back. Welcome to the twenty first century.
oh i think it does, we inflicted real pain on them in the play offs now this. If you actually look back at 76 game, took me long time to accept it, and mists of time and folklore confuse it but yeah the penalty was woeful, we were still leading 2-1 with 10 mins to go and look at the horrendous defending, we beat ourselves that night.

Absolutely delighted. I shed a few tears at full time for my mate iain Shedden (ex Coltness/Wishaw High) who died this week of throat cancer. He was only 60. Iain lived in Sydney and was a massive Well fan who was over for the Aberdeen game. I am sure he will be looking down with pride tonight. RIP Iain and hope the boys win the final for you.

There are no broadcasts of Scottish domestic football in the US this season. Only the occasional international and European game.
Believe me, I have looked into this.
The contracts expired last season and the SPFL did not negotiate a new deal.
cricfree.sc is my goto site for live streams. As long as you have a decent ad blocker and pop-up blocker it's a decent choice.
Don't waste your time with streams and blockers or not Mobdro beats them all no add whatsoever just straight onto broadcasting channels

I am trying to keep calm and think whatever happens happens, but it would be awesome if we can get to the final.
Rangers are still imho slight favourites. You don't spend £10m in the summer on the likes of Dorrans and Jack and Morelos without being 2nd favourites in the league at least.
Regardless we have a lot more about us this season. But we do need to turn up and not get carried away by the occasion. Also hope that the ref has a good game and not swayed by a crowd which is 4-5 times our size !
Whatever happens it has been a great start to the season and the club has brought in more money than we could have hoped for.
Mon the Wel.
only two things concerns me today Dunne and the referee. Do we gamble and put Hammel on or play Dunne who has been an utter bombscare last couple of games and as always will the referee be swayed by the crowd. Other than those two slight concerns I could see us win.

Time Kipre was benched at the centre of yet another goal that cost us all 3 points. He fannies about and gets caught in possession too often. He should have cleared his lines. We were worth a draw but thats saying nothing Hearts were utter pish and we troubled them not one jot.
