  1. Kelly , McGinn and Casey all got pass marks
  2. That’s the first time I’ve been with SK. A 5-4-1 formation against a team who hardly scored was odd . It was calling out for 2 up front . more maddening is it was clear we needed to change early on , energy was poor and livi were winning all the battles . should have changed shape long before the sending off . Generally the mgt have been excellent at intro game mgt but today he kept blind faith that the team would spark into action
  3. We were rank rotten today and didn't deserve anything from the game. This is one of the few games I'd questions SK's set up ahead of the game. Playing a lone striker against the OF is understandable but not against Livi. It was also clear that our players had given all over last 2 games and some needed resting. After 20 mins it was obvious that the shape at best would earn a 0-0. Sending off could be questionable but he certainly gave the ref a decision. Midfield were all off their game and it took +75 mins before Paton (who has been decent but not today) got subbed. Add to that Mugabi's shockingly mis timed tack at the edge of the box. Having the type of moment we know he's likely to make. We need to see a reaction from the team and a plan B from SK when it's needed. Felt he was lazy today.
  4. Far too many piss poor individual performances and SK has been piss poor in. Or making changes
  5. What the actual … shocking individual performances today .
  6. From 10 mins it was obvious we needed to change shape/ personnel if we were going to win this game Need to make significant changes if we want anything from this game
  7. Absolute dross of a first half . appreciate the desire to keep continuity but we don’t need to set up the same way against livi as we do the old firm.
  8. We certainly lack a cutting edge . Feels like we’ve also dropped a few gears from last 3 weeks . playing into livi’s hands too much for my liking
  9. I’d like to see us with 2 out and out strikers to stretch livi Or we need to push the wingbacks further up
  10. Would prefer a claret and amber warning and go ahead and thump them
  11. I felt for him a bit in that respect. He must be keen to get away from Parched asap, if he was playing regularly he'd be in the Scotland first team. Be nice to see him move down South for a period and then comeback to us when he hits his early 30s.
  12. I genuinely believe this is the best we've been for a few years. Takes me back to our purple patch under Robinson when players were working hard and playing good footy. The watch out for me is burnout, particularly in midfield. Davor is the only midfielder we have from the 1st team not playing. Longer term we'll need more depth, appreciate Butcher may return but not sure he'd cover the ground that our current midfield are. We'll need 1 -2 extras in Jan who can fit in nicely. Overall accept being gutted to lose with a team I'm proud to be associated with v's some of the dross of last couple of years. We're moving in the right direction.
  13. performed well as a team, every played added a level of value. Paton has proven to be a much better player than I first suspected and got my vote ahead of Spittal who I thought was very composed taking his goal
  14. Like us all, gutted we didn't take something, particularly when we thought we'd rescued a point. As much as it hurts there's plenty to be proud of and all the team & management deserve credit for their efforts. These are games that we basically shipped +4 goals in the past. As hard as it is, we're at least competing. However that's 3 games in a row that we've played to our max and taken hee haw. It's key to grind out results and put some points back on the board . Don't want confidence to drop.
  15. prob the right level. Well done to all. Club have been superb at moving out those who won't feature long term
  16. To be fair the last 2 games have been far more competitive than I’ve seen for over a decade against the old firm won’t be overly critical , we’re working well as a team
  17. We could and should have replaced midfield 15 mins ago
  18. He reminds me of lasley . Works hard , does the simple things well . Not a world beater but much better than I first thought
  19. Once Soare is fit I suspect we’ll play spencer on the right and drop SOD
  20. Understand the need to try and keep the ball but this tip tapping in our own box does nothing for my nerves
  21. Neither McKinstry or Tierney were out and out strikers .Bair is. He's a target man. A big hard working lad who's putting in 100%. I very much doubt he's a long term solution but full credit to any player who does their best every time they pull a Well shirt on.
  22. He clearly has positive aspects to his game. The short answer is anyone who's a forward player but not an out and out striker has no place in the way we play. McKinstry similar Tierney had some positive aspects but without a clear position and ultimately no place in the team
  23. cracking player - since moving to a back 3/5 he's been magnificent.
  24. In terms of our strikers I believe both loanees are the guys likely to score more goals . Appreciate Mika only had 30 mins but his attributes were clear . shaw has only had cameos but I’ve seen enough to see he’s a decent player . vs Bair and Obika . Neither likely to score goals but both add different value - a bit like Main did previously . Finally we have Wilkinson , looks like he may score a few goals but doesn’t seem to have much impact on games .. suspect SK will pick 2 . One who can score and the other who can add value in other ways
