  1. Good post Dave. I'm sure many fans will roar their disapproval at the manner of Brown's departure. However, the main focus has to be getting 100% behind those still at the club.

    Club Statement

Great statement Flow mate, brilliantly put. Disgusted with AFC and Brown's conduct in all of this, really hope it blows up in their dishonest faces. Fuck em. Mon the Well.
  3. Boyle has surprised everyone before, so if we require a new gaffer as looks likely, my guess is it would be someone no-one would expect. As long as Boyle doesn't have McPherson's phone number I'll be happy!
  4. A gentleman's agreement can only work if its gentlemen involved, and if a guy like Broon can shite on us then the ba's well and truly burst. Nothing is official of course, but it looks like he's performed a ridiculous u-turn in only 24 hours. With all his talk and platitudes to anyone with a Motherwell connection, I'm sure we all thought we could trust this venerable old man of Scottish fitba....... I will be disgusted with him if he fucks off to the Sheep, and annoyed at them for pinching from us again. Why does Broon want this poisoned when he's on a good thing with us? It makes no sense. Motherwell will go on nae bother without him, but I just hope that Boyle can pull another surprise appointment out the fire, lest we get stuck with Yogi or McPherson or some other dud.
  5. Some folk on here take things (and themselves!) too seriously. We went to have fun and we did. No-one claimed we were representative of all 'Well fans, cos if we were we'd have been moaning faced miserable c**ts like many on here. Lighten up FFS.
  6. And the best idea they can come up with to combat the criticism is to deny us our weekend fitba fix?!!! They need to start being more open and honest after games by speaking to the media. That is long overdue in my opinion and MUST happen soon, as this will make them appear more accessible and break the wall of silence and suspicion that surrounds our match officials.
  7. Funny to see higher attendances at Fir Park for the visits of both bigots than those when we visited the weegie middens! So much for there loyal fans eh?!! Mind you that was typical of that era, I'm sure Rickoza will confirm he was at Shellic towards the end of 83/84 when less than 5000 watched us lose 4-2.
  8. They are always awkward opponents, and our recent record over there aint great. There's no way they'll be as defensive against us as they were against both bigots, but as they showed at Fir Park they aint too bad going forward at times. If we can (for once!) combat their physicality and direct style then we can win, but it will be far from easy. My team would be this: Randolph Saunders Craigan Reynolds Hammell Hateley Jennings Humphrey Gow Murphy Blackman A draw will be the most likely outcome, but I'm hoping our superior forwards will pinch the points for us. 1-0 Motherwell with Murphy on target.
  9. Believe me, we tried.......
  10. Many congrats to the Clarkson family!
  11. Its not the first time a ref hasn't played enough stoppage time, surely its time to give that responsibility to an official timekeeper? On the game I felt we were worth a point, and but for a very poor fifteen minutes after we took the lead we'd have had that. I felt we took too long to make our subbies, and another negative is that we are the only team in the SPL this season to not take a solitary point after going behind. What is the reason for that? No plan B? It is something we need to address in my view. Ach well, still fourth and doing alright. Fingers crossed for a win in Paisley next week.
  12. I think if Broon was to criticise refs it would carry a lot of weight, given how nice he normally is towards them. How McDonald could book 3 of our players in one go for dissent, whilst letting the same amount of Hibbies away with it at the nalty is simply ridiculous. It also seems complaining about a shocking tackle is as bad as committing a shocking tackle. Five bookings without one bad tackle is diabolical, and typical of McDonald handling one of our games. Come on MFC, show yer f*cking teeth here!
  13. But which is best? There's only one way to find out.....FIIIIGHT! Seriously, it should be very easy for more folk to sing and shout more positively at the fitba, especially as it will help the team and probably improve everyone's level of enjoyment. That said you canny force people to do that if they don't want to, all you can do is encourage a more vocal and positive response from the folk around you, wherever you sit.
  14. Aye, Chris Humphrey the very ancient 22! Whilst the Hump and Murph could've been in the pool, for 'Watty' Reynolds to miss out again is scandalous. He has been a model of consistency for almost five years in the SPL and European competition, and has also excelled at U-19, U-20 and U-21 level for Scotland. All the while Reynolds has been overlooked, guys like Kenneth, Barr and now Wilson have jumped the queue on the back of a handful of reasonable performances. Levein is a grade-A prick.
  15. We will certainly be facing a Hibs side full of confidence after last night's amazing result, although they may suffer from tiredness after what surely was a lung-busting effort. Like other folks on here I'm glad they got some sort of result before playing us, you know how it is when we face sides needing a result! Team wise I wouldn't make any changes, even if Las is fit. No-one desrves to be left out after a 4-0 win! Not sure how this one will go, Hibs will probably be favourites after last night, but our away record should ensure we're taken very seriously. I'l go for a draw here, 1-1 probably.
  16. You canny really moan after a 4-0 home win can you?!! Great attacking display in the first half, wonderful approach play from Murph and Hump and great finishing from the Blackman. Second half was more of a solid defensive effort, they had to come out and have a go, and to their credit they did. They were perhaps due a goal but well done to our boys for the clean sheet. Delighted with the outcome, now its onto a re-born Hibbees! Mon the Well!!
  17. Despite a hat-trick and a great shift from Blackman, my vote goes to the Hump, who at times was simply unplayable. Fast developing into a player we'll struggle to hold onto.
  18. He certainly worked his socks off, as he always does. Yes he could've used the ball better at times, but I think he did pretty well all in all.
  19. Its everyone's most trusted official Mr DOUGIE! DOUGIE! McDonald. Discuss........
  20. The next two games will be very tough as we're meeting sides in poor form and sliding down the SPL table, and we know what usually happens then! That said, with the St Johnstone game in mind, we are due to give someone a hammering, and their defence has been shocking lately. Mind you, and kind of victory will do me just fine, and with all our main goal threats fit we should hopefully have enough about us to claim all three points. I'll say 2-0 with Sutty and the Blackman on target, plus a p45 for Dingus too!!
  21. Me; Ma mum and da's hoose listening to the radio; January 24th 1991 4.32 approx: "What are they bringing that useless lump on for?!!" ....as Kirkie replaces Iain Ferguson at Pittodrie in the Scottish Cup!
  22. Delighted with the result, although I suppose we shouldn't be surprised given our away record this season and our record up there. Mind you, it got a bit nervy at the end, especially with the lack of Twitter updates! Dinny dae that again Flow!!!

I honestly don't think Forbes was that bad yesterday, certainly not the worst on the park. For me you need to play him in an attacking midfield position rather than out wide. Anyway, my vote went to the Hump, who again ran his heart out and was a constant danger.
  24. For me one of the biggest issues was the lack of appropriate added time at the end. There were 5 subs made plus almost 2 minutes wasted whilst Thomson faffed around booking 2 Accies and talking to CB. So its clear he made no allowance for their blatant time wasting. To stop teams doing that there needs to be a deterrant, but as long as spineless c**ts like Thomson are officiating then teams like Accies will keep employing those ugly strategies.
  25. A very poor day at the office, first half in particular when we were outfought and showed virtually nothing. Second half was better in terms of determination, and we did have much more pressure and chances, and if we're being honest a point would've been fair. The missed pen was a sore one, especially before half time. It was poorly struck and showed no intelligence, considering how good Cerny is when facing a pen. Some of our free kicks and corners were poor too, back to the training ground lads. Accies did work hard and stuck to their task, and will feel they were worth the win. However they have a nasty habit of diving, time wasting and leaving the boot in. Its then that you need a strong referee..... .....and now on to Mr Thomson. Another inept and spineless display from this clown. Not I'm not saying that he was the sole reason we lost, that would be inaccurate and sour grapes too. However he simply allowed Accies to foul, dive, time waste and generally break up any rhythm of the second half without any punishment. Four minutes injury time? Should've been six at least. He never once told Cerny to hurry up at goal kicks etc and did nothing to ensure the game flowed. Some of the free kicks he gave them and denied us were unfathomable, and perhaps if he'd clamped down on their 'tactics' at some stage things MAY have been different. However as Rickoza says, its only Motherwell. Nothing will happen to him. He was shite when we played Hibs in August too, but should we go down the Shellic route or be bigger than that? Probably not worth it though is it? Och well, on to ICT next week. Mon the Well!
