Nah. It's been about 5 years since 35 points ended up in the play-off spot and I'm sure we'll end up with more points than that. I predicted a few weeks ago that we'd finish comfortably above the relegation/play-off spots and even a loss today wouldn't change my mind on that. Even with our slightly erratic form I'd be surprised if we don't pick up 6 or 7 points before the end of the season. Which will be plenty. Having said all that, I really want to finish 7th, above St Mirren, (and hopefully see at least one plastic pitch drop out the league). 2 - 0 to the good guys.

Getting current players on the commentary team has always been enjoyable. Watt has been excellent - in prior seasons guys like Hartley and Tanner were always good value.

Much brighter start to the second half to get that 3rd goal. (I think Devante was shooting, though).

First half pretty much what I was expecting. Fortmartine up for it in the first half hour, difficult pitch to play any kind of passing game, and us with our usual post-international-game performance. Missing Watt's energy. Lawless our best performer so far.

If a regular starter takes a knock and is out for a game, I can see the point in mentioning it. For players that are out longer term the medical staff generally don't like making predicitons about when they will be fit again, so I'm not sure what good it would do for the manager to run through the long-term injury list every week and tell us who is still out.

You might be right, but from memory, they said exactly the same thing for the Euro game and when you clicked the button it said "you need to buy a ticket on the PPV site".

I suspect that if he'd joined us he'd still have been sold to Rangers around the same age. That's how things worked in those days. So it's possible we saw him in claret and amber for longer than if we had signed him as a youngster. We certainly wouldn't have seen him line up with Bobby Russell, who people tend to overlook when talking about Cooper, but who made a significant contribution to his success at Fir Park.
