  1. I think that the experience he's had this season will help him improve and hopefully we will see an improvement next season.
  2. I'd be happy with him staying if he's happy with a realistic wage. As previously said he can be a luxury player but one worth having if his wage demands aren't excessive - a wage freeze would be ok
  3. I suspect that Frear is the man to replace Ainsworth if he continues to improve at the rate he has so far. I'd be inclined to extend his contract before next season starts.
  4. 100% agree with the first part and the final part but can't agree with the way he is managed. His biggest failing is his unwillingness on too many occasions to get involved in the physical side of the game and not tracking back to help. Tonight he did both these things and showed what a talent he could be.

    Lasley.

Like most others on here I'm sure that was his last game at FP in C&A but I think he still has something to offer and could get signed by a championship team. Chased everything tonight and never stopped. I stayed to the end of the walk round waiting for him to finish talking to the disabled fans to applaud him off the park.
  6. I'm sure his refereeing licence is a fake - no way that clown is a referee
  7. Frear - best game for us yet.
  8. Don't get that given the turnover in players we will see in the closed season. If we stay up - and it's still a big if - our player budget will be similar to StJ, Partick, Killie, RC, Dundee and whoever wins the play off. Outwith StJ, these are all teams that will be in the same boat as us, all scraping about looking for two or three players that can give them the edge. With the rebuilding required and changeover in squad we are looking at there is no way we can know what team we will be watching or how they will perform. In Caddins, McHughs, Tait, Hennigan and Frear we will have a decent start supplemented with some of the U20's - Campbell for one has proved himself as at least a squad player for next year. I'd like to see us getting another couple of "mature" players in the McDonald & Lasley positions and a couple of proven SPFL players along with one or two "punts" from lower leagues. That should see us being competitive next season but if the incoming players turn out to be of the Vigours type then it's trouble. Lastly, Kilmarnock have looked relegation material for the last few seasons but are safe this year so anything is possible
  9. If you worked with me I'd be worried if they called you for a random drug test!
  10. Anyone know what the 50/50 numbers were? Can't see them in the club site - last ones I can see published were the Hamilton game
  11. Heard he's looking to be off down south.
  12. Fuckin time travelers waste everything - go tell us Do we stay up?
  13. My concern is we rush him back and ICT players target him because they know if he misses the rest of the season they're in with a chance - it's the tactics I'd go for in their place.
  14. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/39580244 Sign him!
  15. Just rename it the well society thread.
  16. Bowman and Samson both did well but I thought Frear edged it. Pearson was a waste of space.
  17. If we were scoring more then the pressure would be off the defence. Again we seem to be giving it tight to the defence but letting the forwards off.
  18. 50-50 possession, 8 shots each but 5-1 on target to StJ. Forwards need to sharpen up.
  19. A guy who's not managed since he left Ross County about 15 years ago - apart from a game or two with us. A guy already at the club who has shown no interest in stepping in over the last two appointments? Not disagreeing with your assessment of him but I don't think he's any thoughts of managing again.
  20. Should this not be in the U20 thread? The guys on loan
  21. Just watching game on Alba, was McHugh's captain after Las went off?
