  1. The match plan when we play at Ipox is we - the away team - are held back 15+min, id have expected them to be held back rather than us.
  2. Don't get the null vote. You either think they were all shit or one of your 4 mentioned players did enough to get your vote. personally I thought it went to mcHugh.
  3. 1st aim should be safety - 10th or above. 2nd aim a good cup run - a semi final or further would be good. 3rd aim top 6 4th aim Europe Along with some decent football this is what I look for each year.
  4. Not sure about players being "attacked" but I do believe that have a good case to claim "goaded and generally mistreated". If opposing fans had acted like that to me I'd be pissed off.
  5. Strangely looking forward to this game. Will be interesting to see how we line up either attack minded or defensive.
  6. Best of luck to him.
  7. That figure was quoted to me as 10 years development fee - if I understood correctly - and I'm quite happy to stand by it.
  8. Wether it's an upper league or lower league is not the point, the point is we must have wanted to keep him - hence the contract offer - so the contract offer should have been within the correct timescale or we have potentially lost out on £240,000 in development fees which we cannot afford to lose.
  9. Any word on compensation/development fee?
  10. Most of us agreed (correctly in my opinion) that Rangers should be be demoted. A much used phrase was sporting integrity and they shouldn't get any special treatment - lets just leave the whole should they have been allowed in debate out for the moment. So I don't see how we can now argue making them a special case and tuning the fixtures to suit. Yes we've got the shite end of the stick but that happens - would we be complaining if Dundee were in our place? I think the words sporting integrity would be being used to say it was fair they took the team that dropped outs place as previously has happened. Also we should now have a more winnable game at home which means we could potentially be 3 points better off come the split. I don't see that the SPFL have done anything wrong apart from maybe not contacting all the clubs with a hint regarding this once it was realised allowing much of this be discussed in private rather that public.
  11. If our budget now has a £120,000 hole in it, this could have a massive knock on effect on what we can offer players and could potentially see us losing out on a few players. If so then let's hope the U20's players are ready to make the step up.
  12. Fair enough I didn't know that.
  13. I agree but traditionally the league winners have their 1st game at home to unfurl the flag. My point is that this year, Celtics first game is away, allowing them to cancel the second game. Personally I do think that Rangers take Utds place. It could be argued that last seasons top 6 fin gave us he potential extra home games and income against Celtic and Aberdeen - can't be arsed checking to see how it worked out.
  14. So the league has been manipulated to allow Celtic to make extra money in a friendly but can't be manipulated to allow a fair spread of income to clubs?

    Pre Season?

That could be tight if there are any roadworks or hold ups. Journey time would be about 1hr 20min if the roads are clear.
  16. I'm the same as you but hoping one of my season ticket holding mates are away on holiday so I can use his allocation.
  17. Maybe you'd rather folk didn't post what they'd heard but id rather be aware of what people are hearing and then make my own mind up if it's true or not.
  18. I've heard there will be no fee as Motherwell didn't offer him a new contract before the required date - also heard fee would have been £240 000.
  19. McGhee said he was hopeful that out of contract veterans Keith Lasley and Stevie Hammell would follow the leads of Samson, David Ferguson, Craig Moore and Stephen McManus by signing new deals with Motherwell. Read more: http://m.motherwelltimes.co.uk/sport/local-sport/mcghee-samson-to-be-number-one-next-season-1-4149564#ixzz4B2nHKr63 Strange that he doesn't mention any of the youngsters who we have offered extensions to so I suspect that they've said no and are moving on.
  20. Don't see anything happening until we move to a new stadium.
  21. Does the fact that the other under 20's who have been offered contracts have not yet signed mean that they are looking to leave? If this is the case then I hope we offered them contracts on time and get a development fee.
  22. Sad to hear his health isn't good. I will always be greatful for his help to bring about fan ownership.
