Does anyone know if Motherwell TV is showing this on Sunday? It says international only? im not sure if Red Tv is showing it either but I don’t really want to give them the money.

I think it’s obvious Welsh took a knock against Dundee Utd and wasn’t 100% for Saturday. JBA I think rates him highly and he’d have started if he was fully fit. The Slattery one completely confused me though on Saturday, he needs to play as he brings the best out in Just, Watt and Fadinger. To play him for 90mins against Utd and drop him to the bench was utter madness. I really hope we have a proper reaction in this game following the disaster on Saturday. Surely our players must be fuming at themselves. Get out there and prove they are a good side.

I do get what you mean, and as much as I dislike the old firm I am not a shout at the clouds type of guy when I watch him do this or not celebrate against Rangers last season. It is what it is and we know he’s a blue nose. Having just spent a fortune though on Saturday getting to the match and having sat through a horrendous game and what should have been a winnable semi final to then see one of our better paid players jumping up and down celebrating a rangers penalty on the other semi final was a bit of a hard one to take…. Not that I watched it all I have to say so his behaviour may have got better or worse? as I say, it probably annoyed me more than it should have as I’m sure he’s on his way out the door anyway.

After seeing highlights of Halliday sitting on a couch with Paul slane commentating and celebrating all things Rangers, I now realise why he’s not had many minutes this season. I get the Rangers fan stuff etc but he’s still our player and we’ve just had a horrific result yesterday….. read the room man!!!

I’ll be happy with a draw. I can’t see us beating Aberdeen three games in a row over a period of a month. itd be nice to see a reaction from them all after that yesterday.

He made a few quips at us but one was “football with a purpose…. Total domination” talking about st mirrens style. whether you view he has a point or not he was our captain and was well liked at Fir Park, try and be a little respectful rather than mocking the style of football we play. i look forward to him inevitably failing as a manager.

Watching StMirren is like watching a really well organised, extremely fit and half decent junior team from the 1980s We were awful yesterday to a man and it was just a terrible day at the office and it did just feel St Mirren wanted it more and I did mention before we were maybe believing our own press a bit. gutting to go out to that side and it’s gutting listening to some comments flying about on social media from their fans and ex players…. Disappointingly one from our old captain Peter Hartley making smart ar5e comments about style of play. in saying that and as much as I dislike him, I thought Gogic was the real difference yesterday, he was the driving force behind their win…. I find it really difficult to comprehend that a provincial side has reached a national final and will play either of the old firm and I will want the old firm to win?? I feel quite dirty about this but I really despise St Mirren as a club, I can’t stand their players, manager and in particular their fan base. i think I need to go to bed. It’s been a horrible day.

Just in and that was awful, really disappointing and I can’t help but think we played like a team who believed our own press and thought we just needed to turn up today. i can’t stand Robinson and his team and style of play but they knew exactly what to do today to stop us and we were outmuscled in every area of that park. I thought Welsh steadied things a bit when he came on but we were poor and didn’t deserve anything today. i want JBA to continue to play his team in the way he has done but he needs to know how to manage playing massive spoiler teams like st Mirren and not get bullied. I’m sure JBA and the players have learned a massive lesson today but that did feel a bad one, a really good chance of a final blown.

Over 9000 is brilliant. I just hope we can win and play the way we can. If we do that we’ll continue to get more people coming back.

Watt was brilliant but Fadinger I think just flies under the radar every week. He’s an 8 out of 10 every week, an absolute class act and one of our few players who when he goes down after a bad challenge, he gets back up, dust himself down and cracks on. A solid robust player who is technically excellent.

Jim Goodwin was a horrible fraud of a player and an arrogant no mark as a manager. Delighted to beat a Goodwin team but I’ve never like Utd either, never liked the legend Jim McLean and his bullying and destruction of young players back in the 80s and 90s. Their fans are annoying too. job done…… semi final excitement begins.

Kid on hard man and an imposter of a manager. we’re playing pretty well even getting booted about all half. That Sibbald is an animal. I’d like to see a few changes, Maswanhise looks injured so I’d be taking him off and maybe another couple of changes in the midfield to freshen it up keep slattery fit for Saturday.

We could maybe try and organise a blue badge for him or a few hand rails added to his bathroom. He’s been out injured over half of his Motherwell career. This is in half jest as I do think he’s a cracking player I just think the more injuries he’s had, the more it will affect him as his career continues. All these bad injuries mount up on the old body. It’s a shame for the lad.

I dont think Spittal is better than slattery, just, watt, fadinger, said, Charles cook. I’d personally have them all in front of Spittal. also we don’t know what Spittal we would get. If my memory serves me right he was absolutely rotten under Alexander and Hammell and only started performing under eddy munster. He also seems to be a permanent bench warmer at hearts, not getting any mins on the park. I think we should just count our blessings that we seen the best of him and we’ve now moved on to better Honda civics.
