Not ideal but Halliday can cover as left back when he’s fit. He played left back under Gerrard at Rangers …. For most of that season I think? and he also was left back when he played down south at Middlesbrough and Bradford. ok his legs are a bit gone but he knows the system and he is a good passer of the ball. He could do a Stevie Hammell job in an emergency

Potentially Hendry too (although not seen anything of him so far) I think we have a bit of depth to survive and kick on the rest of the season. my only slight concern is Maswanhise being a bit irked by the millions being discussed about him and transfer talk. But I think Jens will be able to deal with that. It wouldn’t surprise me if we’ve gave him a few quid more each week to keep him happy until the end of the season

I think there’s no chance Jens is leaving just now, especially how hes been really vocal on players leaving during the window. Ive no doubt we will lose him at some point, and im sure we’ll all wish him well but hes here until the end of the season….. hopefully at least.

Dundee aren’t a bad side, they are a better side than the ones we’ve played over the past few weeks and I don’t see this as being easy. A draw wouldn’t be the worst result but obviously I’m getting greedy and want a win.

Young Campbell Forrest off to Accies on loan for the rest of the season. Be really interested to see how he gets on. I’ve watched him a number of times and think he’s a real prospect. I actually thought he looked a better prospect than McCallister and McColm. Hopefully he’ll do well.

Playing him against a junior side and then taking him off (when he was their best defender) after 60mins did strike me as being quite petty. you never know though and we don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. Maybe he’s not been giving a toss in training and made his feelings known he wasn’t happy at being recalled. Who knows?
