I get the man is dead etc and there is money involved but I couldn’t sell anything like this from a family member. That’ll be my Motherwell blinkers going on though. I suppose if they are sold I hope they go to a good Motherwell home.

very good player, Ā great servant.Ā

I know it was only a 30 min cameo in goals against Celtic but loved that particular appearance from Jamie.Ā

A shame but maybe the owners badly need the cash or they have no interest in or knowledge of football or Johnny's career.Ā

Yeah it’s just a shame. I do get it right enough.

A legendary goalkeeper for Motherwell. Weird his league cup winning medal isn’t up for sale ?

Very sad news and condolences to his family and friends. An amazing player, who struck up a telepathic understanding with Willie Pettigrew. I believe that came about by chance. I seem to recall he was a quiet, under the radar, type of player with his prolific sidekick receiving more publicity.Ā  Bobby had the knack of having great foresight and positional awareness and brought out the best in others.

RIP Bobby.Ā

Sad news. Him and pettigrew are the best partnership I’ve ever seen. Pettigrew of course scored the goals but Bobby had the skill to set up the chances but I think his greatest attribute was not setting up the chances but his ability to control a ball that came to him at any angle speed or height. His touch and ability to bring a ball under control was outstanding.Ā
RIP Bobby

There’s quite a lot on social media from Liverpool fans talking about him too. Considering he’d played with them such a long time ago it speaks volumes of the impact he had when he arrived there. Injuries really screwed him over at Liverpool.Ā

I remember a friend of mine who knew him mentioned how he really didn’t like bill shankly which was the first time I’d heard anyone speak negatively about him. I think Bobby had got a really bad injury and was out for a long time and shankly didn’t speak to him at all after that. Would purposely ignore him if he were to walk past him. He then got him punted to Coventry? I think? without as much as a thanks and good luck.

managers were mental back then.

Bobby Graham and Wullie Pettigrew were the first strikers I remember from when I started watching Motherwell. So I grew up thinking the way they played was normal, and all the strikers I would see at Fir Park would the the same.

If only I knew...

I had John Goldthorpe and Jumbo Muir, plus, on at least one occasion, Keith MacRae. Good but not what was to come.Ā

Very sad to hear that Bobby Graham has passed away.

A truly fantastic player and the partnership that he had with Willie Pettigrew was just legendary.

I began watching the ā€˜Well about 1967 and Bobby was without any doubt the best centre-forward I ever saw.

Sincere condolences to Bobby’s family at a sad time.

RIP Bobby.

Sad to here the news of Bobby passing……Motherwell born and bredĀ

Was very unfortunate to be at Liverpool at the time when Anfield was awash with great strikers, including St John, who signed him when he was our manager …..Bobby still managed to be included in Ā the pollĀ The 100 Players who shook the Kop (2013)ā€œ

He played all 54 games in the 1969/70 season. After a promising start to the 1970/71 season, he fell awkwardly on the Anfield turf when Chelsea were the visitors early in October and was carried off with a broken leg……. John Toshak was signed to replace him

Ā

Still think he could have done a job for us but sadly moved across the M74 where he continued to scoreĀ

As a young boy I was privileged toĀ  play with Bobby at our primary school. He was some player. My hero was St John, so I was very interested in everything Liverpool, and followed Bobby's career. I was so pleased when he signed for the 'Well and what joy he brought with his partnership with Willie Pettigrew.

Condolences to Bobby's family and friends.

A true' Well legend.Ā

RIP Bobby šŸ™

Biereth starts for Denmark, easy street for him as that clown has picked Hanley

I honestly don't know what pictures Hanley has on his phone but someone needs to steal it before we have to endure another campaign with him in the teamĀ
