As it was mentioned above I do hope heās got a relegation clause in his contract or he could be heading in the same direction as Turnbull. On the money he'll be getting he won't need to live in Derby itself. Plenty of nice spots in the Dales within a half hour drive, or Mickleover on the outskirts where some of the other players seem to live. weeyin
Talking about slowish stars to the league, Derby were 19th last season are sitting 20th this season with 2 losses and a draw. Johnston is a good player. If Derby County was the best option his agent could find for a move to England, he needs a new agent. As far as money goes, I hope he is on a good deal, but if the figures are to believed, he was on £7,900 a week in Austria, which would make him the 5th or 6th best paid player at Derby if they match it. Of course there are lots of good reasons to want to live and work closer to home, and it doesn't all need to be about the money. I just hope he gets game time. MJC
Thatās a good question and something weāve been stung with in the past by having our managers working without a set out contract ie. Gannon, Craig Brown. I donāt think we need to worry about Rangers moving for JBA if/when Martin gets the boot but itās something worth taking into consideration especially seeing as it was never made public (to my knowledge anyway) if or what contract our manager is on. mio
Take that back 2-1 Ā to udinese. Inter goal just chopped off due to VAR
weeyin
I wouldn't be surprised if Miller has to wait a few weeks before he gets game time. Takes a wee while to settle in to a new league with a new style, and he wasn't match fit when he signed.

Spiderpig
I see the club have announced that Bobby Graham has passed away aged 81, another club legend gone.
Kmcalpin
Very sad news and condolences to his family and friends. An amazing player, who struck up a telepathic understanding with Willie Pettigrew. I believe that came about by chance. I seem to recall he was a quiet, under the radar, type of player with his prolific sidekick receiving more publicity.Ā Bobby had the knack of having great foresight and positional awareness and brought out the best in others. RIP Bobby.Ā

weeyin
One of my all time favourites, and quite a coup that we were able to sign him (thanks to his links with Ian St. John). Graham, Pettigrew, Goal.
