Lennons had a quiet game.

He’s been rotten. He looks as if he’s just trying to get up to speed following his injury.
halliday off eventually. Spent about 70mins of that game on his ar5e.

There really hasn’t been much in this game between the two sides. Absolutely terrible goal to lose.

I think we showed at least a wee bit of urgency in the second half but it’ll be a long couple of months. I do think the best we will get is 10th.

Obviously disappointed with result, not overly disappointed with performance especially second half, lots of work to do but we knew that, manager will learn more from game time rather than training ground, big home matches coming up and wins needed.

We all know who has left us in this mess. Wimmer needs time to assess everyone and what his best team will be.  We need to create a great atmosphere on wed night. If fans get unsettled it plays right into Dundee's hands

of course he does but frankly he has fuck all to work with. I fully expect us to rescue Dundee on Wednesday cos we are basically pish all over the park.

Great post. It was important that our new manager got to saw the team as it is. That's a huge positive. A great base from which  to move forward. We were never going to take anything from today's game and I wrote it off a few days ago. Wednesday is much more important. Dundee are also conceding goals aplenty and there's no reason why we can't pick up a point or even 3.

Current form would tend to support your thinking:

Us at Home
P13 W5 D3 L5 F17 A22 Pts 18

Dundee Away
P12 W3 D3 L6 F17 A22 Pts 12

Having watched us through the years, more times than not when we’ve been we involved in 6 pointer games we bottle it.

Yes there is. That reason is

Simon murray we have nobody to mark him cause he always plays beetween 2 centre backs so they leave him to each other of he comes deeper for the ball then turns n runs at defences  but we will see

Poor stuff but not unexpected. Wednesday night is huge for us.

That’s us in 9th spot and probably in 10th after tomorrow’s game when I expect Hearts to go above us. So our job now is to beat Dundee on Wednesday and then at least match them for points week by week

You’re not wrong but Wimmer doesn’t have much time to sort this mess out.

And if/wheh we fall behind against Dundee on Wednesday night then it’s going to get pretty ugly as the support are scunnered. Obviously on the flip side of that if we score early, play well and win then the picture changes but it’s hard to see that happening with the way things have been going.

As I said earlier, Wednesday against Dundee is a huge game.

Not been relegated in 40 years so I'd say when heat is really on we don't bottle it.
