Some of the social media comments from Celtic fans are breathtaking lol “glad he’s gone” “found his level” “good, he’s pish” these guys are clowns, the boy is a good player and better than what they have. Yet they would still complain if he was eligible to play

Talented player, but doesnt work hard enough for the team or at his own game in general. Dont think he would improve in our system.
Stuwell2
Finding a striker who fits our style, is hard working, can find the net and isn’t getting game time at his own club ain’t going to be easy.
mio
I heard a rumour from a decent source that we have a Norwegian striker that the manager has identified coming to us in January. I doubt it’s Haaland but you never know what JBA can do.

wellfan
Who needs a striker… when we’ve got Said and Just taking it in turns to break the defensive line.

thewelllfan
I'm still hoping for Hale purley so he can't score against us in the cup game but he also scored like 15 odd goals in that county team that went down so he's shown ability at the level. Heard Willie Miller talking on Sportsound about Aberdeen's misfiring strikers and how they would be in the market for a striker in January. Got me thinking that someone underperforming at a peer club (like a Nisbet) could be a realistic Jan loan target for us. No one would be too excited, but I think we've got a decent record of getting misfiring players firing again. Simon Murray anyone? Random guy from Scandanavia would be good though, probably save a fair few quid as well.

I wonder if the way we are setting ourselves up to play actually widens the talent pool we can recruit from, since this style is very prevalent in the rest of Europe. Prior to this season, our record with signing foreign players directly (i.e. not via another British team) has been woeful. Who was the last foreign player we signed from a non UK league that was successful? This season we have Fadi, Said and Just who have been excellent, as well as Priestman, who is promising. That's a crazy improvement.

KO is a winger, but he would be a great partner for AP and JT from an xSyllables perspective.
