weeyin
In January, we need players who already play our system and can hit the ground running. I'm not sure if Turnbull would be ready for that - as much as I'd like to see him back.
thewelllfan
There's no way it happens but if it did he'd probably be our best player. Teams have started to sit in against us and a guy like Turnbull who can score from distance consistently wins us those games.

Someone who can shoot from outside the box would be a very useful addition to our team. Thats if he isnt in fact broken beyond serviceable use. I presume he is already a very rich young man and money might not be the be all and end all for him any more. Bring him home. Mrs grizzly's ears burning as I hsve been singing songs from les miserables ! 🤣🤣, ps. Last sentence a clue

He didn’t fit into Celtics fast style when he was there and although we don’t move forward fast, I’m not sure he’d fit into our style. That sead I’m happy to take him and see how it goes. 0Neils40yarder
This is pie in the sky, surely? But if he's available and happy to come to us within our wage structure then we'd be absolutely aff oor heids to knock it back.
Big Stall
Hes got the touch & close control to slot into our team. His shooting adds to our team. Does he have a good enough engine though?? Either way, if he was available it would be worth a shot
mio
The Turnbull thing won’t happen. His wages are ridiculous and his manager likes him and wants him to stay. He’s just been made of glass this season and he’s still getting fit. Hopefully he’ll start tonight v Chelsea. off chance here but would we take Dykes on loan?hes Played few minutes at Birmingham. He’s desperate to play so he can get his Scotland call up and I understand he’s not really in birminghams plans. Birmingham might be happy for us to pay some of his wages for 5 months. we need a striker more than any midfielder
Orinoco
Have you watched Dykes play? The guy cant run or score. A flukey goal here and there does not cut it for me. He is awful and not a fit for our teams style of play.
weeyin
I'm sure JBA has ideas on strikers. I'm also sure Dykes is not on that list.

Plus Dykes is a hoofball player its exactly not what we need we need an alrounder pretty sure JBA has already targets in mind to fit into our system. Just putting this out in the atmos a Bair type be good he could do a bit of everything would fit into our system perfectly.

Spiderpig
I am confident JBA knows we need a striker or two, so i hope targets have been identified and we get the business concluded early, oh and its probably going to be someone we have never heard of. wellsince75
Oh I do love a rumour of previous Well stars coming back. Turnbull would be an outstanding addition - I think his style of play does suit us. Attack minded team who want to play football and carve their way through a team - yes please. I could see a loan being possible especially if they want to sell him with a year left on his contract. Appreciate there are other more pressing roles to solve but it cheered my well soul to think about Turnbull back home in the current set up. wellfan
Turnbull would be an ideal fit as a central attacking midfielder in JBA’s 4-2-3-1. That said, the rumour is probably complete bollocks.

wellfan
He should be the first name on Cardiff’s team sheet. He’ll be back, but not anytime soon.
weeyin
I only saw the 2nd half, but he certainly look the part. Always making space, always time to find a man with a pass.
joewarkfanclub
Aye. The boy is still a class act. Even if he left Cardiff, there would be teams with deeper pockets than us in the queue to secure his services. He is much better than a League 1 player. More the pity..... wunderwell
What strikes me is none of our defensive line are signed up for the new campaign - only 15 goals lost this season. Who deserves a new contract?
