Players following instruction then a mistake at the back and they score . Vast majority of of fan base stayed calm but very small percentage started booing . Actually turned round at that point and there were a few angry chappies in full throttle booing 8 mins into the first home game . . Each to their own I suppose but the way the manager explained staying calm was important at that point re. the players not rushing things it was very telling . I for one will be buying into his methods as the last few years have been an awful watch . Not sure everyone in our support is though or even willing to give it a chance . The reason he was brought in was because even the Chairman wanted a different style of football to punts up the park and winning second balls stuff as per Robbo Alexander Kettlewells. Chairman has been brave in this appointment . He could easily have taken the safe appointment but chose to try something different . Im sure the vast majority of us will buy into it . I'm going because, I saw enough on Tuesday night to suggest that the football that we will be watching this season will be worth the entrance fee. I like the manager's interviews and I am buying into his philosophy. So, I am going along tomorrow to see a little bit of improvement and some attractive football. I will accept the risks of this new style of play and have high hopes for the season ahead. That said, it won't be plain sailing tomorrow.
