Too far away to think about. Lets get the League Cup out of the way first. Hopefully the Miller deal will be concluded and we will have a few more bodies in the door.

McInnes already showing signs of playing like a stock sample anti football McInnes team and their natives are getting restless.

1-0 Motherwell

Has he? And are they? Yesterday’s penalty loss to St.Mirren apart they have had a solid start to the season, sailing through the group stages scoring plenty of goals and notched up two strong league wins, one of which they managed by scoring three goals which is one more than we have managed in our first two league fixtures and yesterday combined.

They will beat us next week because of this very simple reason…they have players who can score goals and we don’t.

2-0 home win.

We scored yesterday

And every other competitive game bar St Mirren.

Not to say we don't need another strike option, but historically we have always matched up well against Hearts and I expect this to be a typical close one.

Hearts appear to be a team in transition with McInnes tinkering with his squad in search of his best 11. They have a lot of players and some of them are very good, so how this goes could rely on whether he finds the right formula against us.

We have Slattery to come back in, but a few of our players limped off on Saturday, so it will depend on our recovery who is available. Hopefully they all just had cramp given what they put into the game!

Osong, clearly isnt going to be fit enough to start, he looks a longer term project, so its likely to be Stama up top, unless we have signed Callum Hendry and he is ready to hit the ground running (unlikely).

We really need to work hard on delivery in training this week. Get Said on the right (he has no left foot), TJ on the left and have Slattery and Just working on passes down the channels for Stama to run onto.

I suspect it will be another very close game with only a goal in it either way. Id settle for another hard earned draw and keep the unbeaten run going for another week.
