That said however the Killie game for me is a must win, not in the avoiding relegation sense, but in building team confidence in finally getting the win their great play in recent games deserves. So I hope JBA and the players have learned from the Hearts game and realise that any errors are not acceptable.

A home game against a beatable side. This early in the season, not a six pointer of course but an importnat game nonetheless. Hopefully we'll see a new face or two, but maybe not starters. Rightly, we're reciving plaudits for our attractive style of play. Now though, we need to up our game at both ends of the pitch. Improve our defending at the back and be more lethal up front. This game give me the fear.... 1. We are playing great stuff 2. We need a win to round off all the positives 3. We have been getting unprecedented good comment from the media 4. We will probably get a bigger than normal home support. 5. Every Motherwell fan will be desperate to see us put one over "Eddie Munster" 6. Expectation is high I said to my mates all week we wouldn't lose at Tynecastle having seen Hearts I wasn't impressed. However I just have a feeling of foreboding that Kilmarnock will piss on our parade. Hopefully not 🤞

mio
I’d love to see a big crowd this weekend and plenty of colour on show. I know I’m dragging a few people to fir park who don’t normally attend regularly and are looking forward to it. really looking forward to this……. That could be the kiss of death right enough. I think all of them will want to ‘make amends’ for not winning at Hearts - not just one player. oh and I doubt they’ll give a flying f about Kettlewell. We can never just sit back relax and enjoy us playing well. We just keep on waiting to collapse and be disappointed. I mean we have gone 9 games unbeaten and deservedly so. We know we will loose at some point and that will definitely be disappointing but please don’t let it be against SK’s team!! I really, really hope we give them a thumping and strike a victory for playing good football over dull negative kick and hope stuff that has been the bane of Scottish football for so many years now. weeyin
I think the last time I was at Tynecastle we went 1 - 0 up and saw it out. Willie Irvine was the scorer!
star sail
There seemed to be a consensus on here in the end that Kettlewell was an imposter as a manager. If the people that were confident in that opinion have the courage of their convictions they will feel very confident about this coming weekend. 1

Because Motherwell were generally equally as shite. I think Motherwell have taken a big step forward under JBA and I think they will have enough on Saturday but it will not be easy because Kettlewell was not nearly as shite as he was made out to be and Kilmarnock will be motivated and well organised. Loses to shite teams with shite managers is not just simply down to the whims of chance.
Fergie79
...add to that we will be playing against a tried and trusted 30% possession game plan Will be tough breaking down that however if last season's St Johnstone can then hopefully JBA's mini Barcelona can

Richie
Looking forward to it as well. Will pop in the new pub in town centre and head to Well Society Beer Garden as well. Only downer is it will be almost certainly raining. I'm relatively confident about Sat.

wellon
Re ketts, it won't happen but if the fans treated him with indifference rather than boos, that would annoy him more, he loves to be centre of attention Or make him do a sponsored silence.
