MJC
So, the optimists will see this a chance of bouncing back and ending a run of eleven(?) losses in as many of our last home games against Celtic. But this won’t be any different. Either 0-4 or 2-3 with them scoring the winner in stoppage time. Either way we just don’t have what it takes to win this one.
Throughthelaces
Happy days. Eh. grizzlyg
Would take a draw if offered to me. We are needing to be more clinical in front of goal. Sellik hopefully leave us plenty of space but no point when we have nothing up front. Hendry so laboured and just doesn't get into positions and when he does he doesn't take chances. Also need our top players to be on form
wellfan
We’re not suddenly going to start being clinical in front of goal by Tuesday, and our style of play won’t change, so I expect this game to play out much like our loss to Rangers. Another decent but frustrating performance is likely.

I try to be an optimist, but definetly not expecting anything out this game either 2-3 with a stoppage time winner sounds like it could definetly happen as they have a habit of late winners

joewarkfanclub
Celtic are very good going forward. But they are wide open at the back. If we can get the balance of possession/attack right we could well get something from this. Could be a high scoring encounter. Please let us score 1 more than them! Toxteth O'Grady
8pm kick off on what will be a holiday for most. I fear for the seats in the Tommy McLean Stand.

Orinoco
Im sure they will get favourable officials. There penalty today was a joke like many they get the benefit of doubt. Hopefully cook is back. Celtic always seem to raise their game against us, so its going to be very tough. We need to start taking these half chances to get points. Orinoco
Very true. We need to be better and stop trying to score the perfect team goal. Goals from stramashes and bounces off arses are just as important. We need to shoot more accurately more often.

texanwellfan
I’m sure they’ll be looking to beat us by 5 goals so that they can got top of the league, since Hearts don’t have a game on Tuesday
Andy H Posted yesterday at 01:59 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 01:59 PM That Celtic defence is utter dugmeat. We are going to get plenty of chances to score. Just need our strikers to actually hit the target and we will be golden. Going for 4-1 to us

We hit the target a few times yesterday but made it too easy for the goalie to save.

Kmcalpin
Seemingly Regan Charles Cook will be out for a few weeks. The extent of his injury is being assessed.
grizzlyg
A win would be amazing and fact we are disappointed losing at ibrox shows the progress we have made. Personally I think 4th is the target as anything higher would just be incredible. However despite the 6 clean sheets in a row , 3 of them were 0-0 and also didnt score on Saturday. Lack of a striker is costing us now so January transfer window is massive

Yeah that’s a blow. I was hoping he’d be an able replacement for Maswanhise but I understand he’s been struggling with an injury for a while. we don’t really have another attacking option. I thought we’d Said was quite poor on Saturday. Not sure what JBA will pull out the hat tomorrow

I could be tempted to say we will never have a better chance to beat them because they are one of the poorest Celtic teams in years. That said I've seen us fall to beat this mob in any incarnation in 11 years so I have zero confidence that we can beat them tomorrow. The last game at Celtic Park completely encapsulates our efforts against Celtic over the years. Different day same capitulation when we had them. A sore one tomorrow definately on the cards. There will be plenty plaudits and empty positives but we will still get the same points as we'd get from a horsing
