texanwellfan
In hope so!!! Going to have to work for it, as in play our style of football and play it well, taking our chances when they come along. Could be another great weekend for us in making gains on teams around us. If we can take 3 points then we will be improving our position with respect to at least 2 of these 4 teams. Hibs v Rangers Celtic v Falkirk. joewarkfanclub
The next 2 games wont define our season. But if we can win them both it will certainly put is in a really strong position in the run in to the split. Livvy are a tough team to play against, but the league doesnt lie and there must be a reason they havent won since August. We are much further along the road than we were when we went there last time out, so I expect a much better performance. If we can keep another clean sheet we should have enough about us to take at least one chance and win the game. Top 6 is within our grasp. We just need to go take it. After that we can start looking up the way!
Kmcalpin
Good post as usual Joe. I hope we can take a large travelling support to add a bit of atmosphere.

The most entertaining football in most of our living memories , fabulous league record and fingers crossed for another cup run. We're only 12 points away from securing 4th in the league. grizzlyg
This will be another tough game on a poor pitch but mind you we played on a poor pitch yesterday (what on earth has happened to our bowling green!). I think we could take 2500-3000 to this game which would be amazing. COYW
thewelllfan
With 5 games in 14 days on the way I'd expect some rotation against Livingston. Team for me would be Ward Sparrow Mcghee Mcginn Longelo Fadinger Preistman Maswanhise Just Said Stama Rest Slattery and SOD and get some more minutes into Bjorgolfsson before the busy period. If we keep the same percentage or better for the remaining 15 games then we will end up with at least 66 points. I would suggest a 66 point total would be enough for 4th or maybe 3rd and would see us earn another European adventure.
purestate
BBC have and already out of date (doesn’t include yesterday’s results) analysis of who may win the league which shows us as 5th based on expected goals. Basically that methodology has Celtic and Hibs underperforming and Hearts, Rangers, and us over performing in that order. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c0erdjp0plpo So many other factors to take into account of course but I’d say a win here and the others sharing/dropping points will put us in a strong position to potentially finish 3rd, not just consolidate 4th
grumpy
For anyone with a statistical leaning: Over the last 10 completed seasons, the maximum number of points achieved by the team that finished 4th was 67 (twice, 17-18 & 18-19); the minimum was 48 (21-22), and the average is 57.2. I hope you will all sleep better now. Given that Hibs and Falkirk are 5 & 7 pts behind respectively, I reckon 60 will be needed (but that is just a guess). Away from the data analytics and towards the🧡, i find it somewhat ironic that while 🎶 “we hate Hearts and we hate Dundee” 🎶 I’ll be willing them both in to get a result today 😀
Kmcalpin
We've already secured our tickets for Saturday in Block N, but it does my head in when clubs, like Livingston, confine fans to strict sections in their stadia, despite there being plenty of space. Just checked again, and it seems that, so far, they're splitting our support up into 2 quite separate blocks, P & Q and M & N, separated by an empty block, O, in the middle. Why? Similarly - as an online fan - whenever I watch games at Livi, I don't understand why they leave their main (?) stand almost completely empty. I looks really crap for the TV cameras, why not at least pretend to the world that they've got a decent crowd in by moving a section over there? firparkfred
Does anyone know which section the young Well fans will be using, with their drum. Just asking so that I can avoid it if possible. Cheers.

The last time I asked their stadium manager that question he said it was down to stewarding which baffled me (and him too I suspect) as he walked away when I asked him what the logic behind it was. I'm pretty sure it would take more stewards to monitor 2 separate areas rather than just one.
