Richie
There was talk of the Just WC money going to his previous club as part of his transfer agreement. Unsure on how accurate that is though

Unsure on how accurate that is though I read that the payment is pro-rated amongst the clubs that a player was registered with during the past 2 years. So, without a deal, we'd only be eligible for around half. If we did make a deal to pass it all on to his previous club, it's a great idea to help pay for a player. I'd be surprised if the Trivago ad wasn't shown in Australia. It was never off the telly here in the US during half time of every EPL game. mio
I thought we might be in bad shape transfer wise but it looks like Hearts are having a summer clearout Kent, shankland, benigimi Nelson and Forrest so far. I thought that Beni guy was excellent.

Acording to Lanarkshire Live (the Rancid) his expected total payment is about £290K, of which we'd receive about £190K.

I was confirming it was, although it took me a month to realise the smug annoying "actor" was Klopp.
Spiderpig
Maswhanise on his way to Belgium to join Anderlecht, apparrently according to this report, a fee " north of £2 million" was mentioned. https://www.heraldonline.co.zw/rangers-on-verge-of-losing-maswanhise-battle/
Suprawell
Good move for JT, the Pro league is the most scouted in the world, so if he lights it up a really big move is on the cards. #sell-on.
robsterwood
Fee appears very low when you compare hibs got £7 million for Bowie and he scored much less goals.

Could it possibly be that the fee quoted as "north of 2 million" was plucked out of the air because 2 million was what Rangers were prepared to pay and we will undoubtedly want more than that. The article is all about the teddy bears and you can sense the complete disinterest in both the player and his current club once it becomes clear he is going elsewhere. I certainly hope we will get a fair amount more than that.

Last week they were reporting we would demand a minimum of 3 million. As neither club will disclose the fee, they media is just making wild guesses. As for comparison to Bowie, JBA covered that nicely back in January. Totally different kinds of players subject to offers from totally different types of teams. El Grew
According to previous rumours, we rejected an offer of £3.75M which included ‘add-ons’ from Anderlecht. Apparently they really want to sign him so you would imagine that they will come back with an increased offer.

I don't think he was shite but he is not as brilliant as some would have you believe. I think the time for him to move is right. I think he's a bit like Theo Bair, I think we got the best out of him. Hope he does well for Anderlecht.

And comparisons with Bowie are pointless as I think if they continue their current development paths they are going to be completely different kinds of players. texanwellfan
I’m assuming this category will be pretty slow for the incomings till we get a manager in place and the window actually opens? June 15th?

We signed Fadinger and McGhee without a manager pretty early last summer, and the likes of Just, Watt, and Longelo were brought in very early, in time for the training camp in the Netherlands if I remember right.
Mad Dog
McGhee was an SK pre-contract agreement in January 2026.
