I just dont see him starting many games - more likely to plug gaps when others are out . first to admit I could be wrong. The way injuries are going he coukd be starting every week in a different position at the back or right mid.

He may be 34 but he definitely contributed a lot. And although this may be seen as a poor reflection on our wingers, he's probably still the best crosser at the club... EDIT Also provides cover as you only have three centre backs listed... Need some one in the squad with experience. The average age of the first /starting 11 is going to be be very young this season. SOD could play a vital part in this squad. McGinn injurys may keep him out the squad as the other experienced player. Hopefully we don't get the shit kicked out of us to stop us playing. It is Scotland after all .

Will make judgement after seeing him 3 minutes in the flesh 😂 not a player in world football that won’t have a good highlights real on YouTube 😂 sounds positive, hopefully reality backs it up 🤞
Happyhonest
Think we will do any further business? With Kanga down as a forward and the imminent return of Thor and stama as well as sebwhere would you look to add a player to? Looking at the reel I think kanga will play more in the attacking centre mid role providing flexibility with Lowry in the middle. Leaving Said, TM Cook- ster and Vogt for the wings whyte priestman and fad8nger as well as hodge for midfield. Longelo and Williams M Kl and GR as centre backs then Johnny Sod and sparrow as right back. Issue for me then seems to be if anyone does come in it won’t be for cover it will be as better quality than what we have. with the fee involved for kanga I don’t think we will be opening the coffers again so maybe a loan

weeyin
I'm happy for JT to stay and see how he develops under Alfred. It's easy to forget he's only 23. If a good offer comes in and he wants to move on, I'm OK with that too.

The squad is pretty full and with the injuries starting to clear up we look in a fairly healthy place. All depends on what Alfreds view is on Stama & Eythor. Id expect he would want to give both a chance before shipping them out in January maybe? Obviously if JT goes that might free up a spot for another attacker to come in. My biggest hope is that we get through the window with Fadinger and Longelo still at the club.
texanwellfan
Although our window closes Sept 3rd most others close Sept 1st, so I would assume we won’t sell to a Scottish club meaning we should be “fixed” by Tuesday.

grizzlyg
I know a Bournemouth fan and I have been telling him about Paulsen. He is delighted but also says they are well covered in that department. Wonder if we could negotiate a permanent deal

Kmcalpin
The last few domestic games have taught us that we are short of physicality and leadership/experience on the pitch.

Agreed. I think we lack a physical ball winning midfield player to stiffen-up our midfield and who can mix it if required. I don’t mean a thuggish hammer thrower type but someone who can provide protection for our creative players.

I watched him closely in the warm up when they were all taking shots and the amount of times he didn't even get it on target was shocking.. Interesting to see when they're all fit, how we set up. Don't think any of them could play the role Lowry is playing so you figure one of the three drops out...
