We could really do with Fadinger and McGinn for this one.

Celtic must win, but that just makes it all the more interesting a game, because we all know that Motherwell won't be lying down to anyone.

I'd love the 3 points to go our way, but I reckon that it'll be a score draw.

Another action packed and enthralling night in store at Fir Park.

Very likely, we'll have to do without Welsh, McGhee and McGinn for this one.  McGhee and McGinn will also miss the Hibs game.

We’ll probably see a back four of Longelo, SOD, Gordon, and Sparrow or Koutroumbis for this one. What’s up with McGinn and McGhee?

Very likely. I don't know. Widespread talk on the terracings last night.

Anyone know if we still have ODonnell stand tickets available for Wed?
I was meant to be away but I can now make it thankfully.
I’ll call the office tomorrow

McGhee and McGinn apparently out for rest of season.

Celtic getting beat just now is good for us. We need Rangers to have something to play for against Hibs.

Its 3-1 to Celtic now, so i presume they will be well up for the game on Wednesday as they need a win. But that said they are nothing special so hopefully we will get in their faces from the start.

I hope we can get a result on Wednesday,  going to be difficult especially with a lot of defenders out and a centre forward who has fone hee haw since transfer window shut.  Fingers crossed.

COYW

Last time we beat them with SOD, Sparrow, McGinn and Koutroumbis at the back and no centre forward.

Thats really shit if confirmed.

Means we probably have to go with Gordon and SOD in the middle on Wednesday.

Thankfully Johnny K is back so hopefully he can at least start and give us 60 minutes as I dont fancy having Sparrow outside Gordon.

Going to be a very tough game on Wednesday with some key defenders missing. We best be keeping a high percentage of posession, although,  having Fadinger back should help. I really want us going into last game with 4th spot tied up. Not sure that Rangers will help us any as they are now stuck in third spot with nothing to play for.
Come on Motherwell let’s finish home schedule on a high and beat Celtic again.

They also had a manager completely out his depth and they were in the middle of one of their worst domestic runs in decades. That takes nothing away from how brilliant we were that night as all of that was outwith our control but I strongly suspect that things will be different on Wednesday night as they will be going hell for leather to get the result.

Same players, though, and they were fortunate to beat us at Celtic park with the dodgy pen.

And just as reminder, only Falkirk have picked up 3 points at Fir Park this season.

Celtic have kept 1 clean sheet in their last 12 league matches and that was against St Mirren who can't score against anyone.

So there should be at least 1 goal there for us.

Celtic's last 5 away matches they have a draw, a loss and three jammy 2-1 wins.

Clearly this game is doing to be down to how we defend.  If we can keep Celtic to 1 or 0 we are probably getting something out the game.

We have some defensive issues but only Falkirk have scored more than once against us at Fir Park since August so I still think we should be going into this match with confidence.

And lets remember we are playing for guaranteed European football so it's not like are just playing to spoil someone else's party. Although that would be nice too...

I read a few Sevco fans already spouting their conspiracy theories last night that Motherwell were going to lie down to Celtic because of all the "Celtic connections" in our team and because JBA wants the Celtic job.

Peak OF paranoia.

You'd think if they were that worried they wouldn't have rolled over in today's game.

One of the good things about this team is that, even when we are not playing at our best, the workrate and detrmination to run for one another is always there.

Im not saying we have enough to win on Wednesday. But we certainly have enough about us not to lose, regardless of who starts.

Gonna be another cracking night under the lights.
