No danger, season ending on a whimper. Hibs will be so fired up for this and I just don't think we've got it in us when the chips are down. Hope I'm wrong but it would be such a typical Motherwell way to end the season.

I know it was frustrating tonight, but I have seen us end the season, 2nd, 3rd and 4th multiple times, qualify for Europe multiple times, and even win a cup at the end of a season. Not to mention Craig Reid day at Pittodrie.

If you're expecting that every season, of course, you'll be disappointed, but if we didn't win important games we'd be fighting St Mirren for 11th.

Every game is important , I talking about games that can define our season. To finish 5th for the football we've played and the standards we've set is frankly a miserable return. Sure if we measure it against previous seasons 5th is terrific but that's not our benchmark our benchmark has been our standards throughout this season and frankly the possibility of being pipped by a Hibs team who have been nothing special this season is pretty poor ending in my book.

Need one big push.   I would drop said and put Maswanhise wide and hendry up top

Not ideal but but  I think thats our only option. Maswhanise is being hung out to dry up front on his own. We are far too lightweight up front and its costing us big time.

The officials’ cheating will have well and truly knocked the stuffing out of us, so sadly I’m not expecting much from Saturday now.

Perhaps not. Have you listened to Jens post match  interview?
He is able to ( and says the players are ) separate the performance from the result/VAR farce and able to move onto Saturday on a positive note.
as has been pointed out on here, even if it ended 2-2 we would still have same task on Saturday.

Too early to even think about this game still. Hardly slept last night. Completely sickened by Scottish football right now.
God knows how the players / manager are feeling this morning

To inject some positivity into the discussion we have sold 2k tickets for this, so the away end will be sizeable and noisy.

A fitting end to an incredible season.

I hope we get at least the point we deserve for all our efforts this season, but even if we dont, the squad deserve the proper send off they were denied last night, especially with a few of them definitely away in the summer, Slatts in particular.

Once more, "Stand Up And Sing For Motherwell!"

What is the “stand up and sing for Motherwell”?I have seen it mentioned several times lately but have no clue what it is. 🙁

It's the song that is sung at games now, no idea who started it, think well Bois created it.  I love it ( see...I do give the Bois praise)

I prefer it to the thunderclap

Its the same tune as "Scotland away, away, away". Think its relatively new, but has taken on a whole life of its own now. Hearing all 3 stands singing it last night and drowning out the Celtic fans was pretty special 🧡❤️🧡
