The defence strolled it. Johnny K is a much better right back than Sparrow defensively. Reads the game brilliantly. 

Fadinger ran the game.

Said got to get it for his brilliant 2 goals and overall work rate.

I was a bit disappointed with Said the first half but as someone mentioned he was probably asked to play a specific role. Second half the shackles came off and we saw the real said. 
 Many good/great teams have that special player who they just put on the park amd let them strut their stuff.  For us, that’s Ibrahim Said !

Moorman is class and JGR was excellent as well. We are lucky to have them.

Said has made this vote easy, but could pick 7 or 8 tonight.

Lukas covered every blade of grass and moorman is a real find. Best performances in a well shirt from JGR and lowry also. Shout out to olly whyte as well btw - solid when he came on.

Almost went for Lowry as some of his passing was so clever and his workrate was excellent. Went for Said, though.

On any other day there would be a few options, Moorman, Girdwood-Reich, Fadinger and Priestman were all outstanding, Paulsen, J-K, Longello and a great 30 odd minutes from Olly Whyte. But Said, aka Captain chaos, just wow, end the vote now.

Special mention for Lowry. Andy Holliday on Sportsound saying he has told him countless times he needs to improve his work off the ball to reach his full potential. Based on tonight Lowry has been listening, what a shift.

So many to choose from but went for JGR. Solid defensively when in the centre then remarkably the out ball / furthest forward multiple times from Poulsen when HJK were throwing everything at us.

I was always confident there were plenty of ball playing central defenders out there to replace Welsh, but credit to the recruitment team to come up with one that is so good.

Everyone was a 7/10 or above tonight so feels kinda unfair to single anyone out.

The entire backline were magnificent. Oscar and Faddy did Oscar and Faddy things. Lowry showed his range of passing is gonna be up there this season and a special mention for Olly Whyte who put in a real shift when he came on and showed he is someone we could be getting excited about very soon.

MOTM though is SAID. He is box office every week, but those 2 goals are ridiculous! Ifbhe keeps that up another club record transfer fee will be incoming!

So many great performances in defence and midfield but Captain Chaos aka Said shades it for me,  because goals win matches.

I hope he gains confidence from his impressive contributions and scores many more this season.

So tempted to go with Said but I thought Lowry was great tonight with some cutting passes - could be a great signing once others get used to him.

You can see that right now his footballing brain is a step ahead of some of his team mates, but a few more weeks together and they should be in sync.

So many great performances tonight. Special mention to Lowry, who really came good and put in tremendous effort. No doubting his commitment and attitude tonight, both were excellent.

I realise that Said will take the plaudits for his game changing contributions, but for me Moorman is class. He completely controlled the backline and his passing through the lines is reminiscent of Watt. What a player he could be for us this season.

Yup , I have been really impressed with JGR, also slotted in easily at right back so another option there
