We don't pass - we were out passed by Kilmarnock. 
We don't defend - and I mean as a team. 
We had no shape in the 2nd half. 
We didn't win any 2nd balls. 

In last 5 games 
We've conceded 14 , scored 3. 

I don't remember us shipping goals like this since possibly McGhee v 2 era

Some of the forward play was ok but that defence could get us relegated,  how odonnel lasted 90 mins is beyond me.

There are a few not digging in either.

Kilmarnock aren't much better but they dug in a bit.

Kilmarnock's first home win this season. Next stop Tynecastle. Now 5 loses on the trot. Next week will be 6. This could be the season we go down. The manager is a fraud. Not one signing has been a success. Total waste of money. I still haven't a clue what Plan A is never mind Plan B.

I agree players need to stand up and be counted - equally when we the fans can spot the obiovus that needs to change and the manager can't it's concerning Grizzly.  

For the record  I wholeheartedly agree about not firing managers after a few short months - but it is getting worse but the week - that's not a transition period Im afraid .

You can tell it’s not going to work for the manager can’t you, get a feeling based on what you’re seeing 

 

just the same as you call out the keeper early doors….nah nah the keepers decent ( good shot stopper but nothing else needed but he’s employed by a premiership team so he must be alright )

Not sure where to start on that game. Wrong team selection. If you have players available for specific positions then play them in their proper positions stop playing players out of position. 
didn't play as a team, amd each unit was disjointed as well. 
gifted a goal for opposition yet again. 
terrible on the ball but even worse off the ball. 
Alfred has a lot to sort out.

It’s one thing getting beat when your team plays entertaining football and you enjoy watching them but right now we are not a good team to watch.

Yeah it just feels like its not going to work with this manager. 

I don't want to be calling for a managers head in October but there's something not quite right and the early results papered over some of the cracks.

yes - im pretty furious right now  - like us all  - we're desperate to see improvement. 

I honestly can't fathom what we do in training, nor can I fathom for the lift of me the sub choices.  

Nor can I see the approach we're trying to play - if it was 3-2 and we were simply out scored but had watched a game of free flowing football I think I could swallow that for now.

I'm now 50/50 on the manager.

A real lack of fluidity throughout our side. Once again the opposition didn't have to work for their goals today and Im not disrespecting Killie when saying this. 

But..... some of our 'established' pros need to take a massive look at themselves. I can accept being beat, but when players chuck the towel in with 20 mins to go then, that's a totally different matter. 

Goalkeeper needs a break, I know he's saved us so many times after losing stupid goals, but, you can't be guaranteeing the opposition a goal a game. 

We are so lucky that most teams in the league aren't picking up points at a faster rate. Three massive games coming up, it was four, but we've already made a balls up of the first one. 

I'm old enough and ugly enough to recognise that last year was a monumental success, however, that as a Motherwell team is an anomaly, five defeats on the bounce and the prospect of Hearts coming to town, should be sounding the alarm bells, even amongst the HCC.

I don’t know where to start with that today. Firstly we deserved nothing. Players out there playing like it doesn’t matter. That defence!!! Woeful to a man, SODs worst performance in a few years, Sparrow an embarrassment of a full back. As much as I think Vogt is an amateur player at the very best he’d have done more than that imposter Maswanhise today…. The epitome of a player who doesn’t give a sh1t.

Id give pass marks to Lowry who looked like he could at least create something and he tucked away his goal really well but as for anyone else it’s a no. Anyone who says we aren’t in quite a bit of bother here is fooling themselves.

one thing for sure is that will be the last away day for me until I start to see a better level of performance and basic effort. My money can be better spent than watching that. The noises from the people around me were the same. A really disappointing day.

It's obvious from last week's on park meeting when he was ignored by the players the are not confident in him and it shows on the park. Tactics seem awful. Play players in their preferred positions, its bloody simple . Giving every team a goal of a start in the first 10 mins , when he should have them psyched up for the game. To do the exact opposite.  Preistman comming back is now looking  like he won't be able to make a difference to that team or the tactics.

Theres no plan in the world which can accommodate that defending...even the killue commentators were laughing and called it " Sunday league" ...we need to get some decent defenders in pronto
