Does it get any better sauntering into an office with a number of Rangers fans who said to me last week “not worried about Sunday…. We can blow anyone away at home the way we are playing” if only I were able to smoke cigars in the office…. The smugness is oozing from every one of my pores5 points

That 2nd goal we scored was probably my goal of the season everything about it was so clinical from back to front if that wasnt total football i dont know what is. What a season so many highs.3 points

Then Longelo made it look easy with the first time finish although it was far from easy. Just a great goal all round.2 points

Pat's a great speaker and has a lot of good stories to tell. He came over to Guernsey for our annual literary festival after his book came out (which I bought, read and enjoyed). He's really not the pantomime villain that a lot of Motherwell fans want him to be, so I highly recommend going along and listening to what he has to say about our club that he still has a great deal of affection for.2 points

Time for a song :- "As we were passing Ibrox Park, we heard a mighty clamour, the boys in blue got beat 3-2, By the boys in Claret & Amber" 🎶🎵🎶2 points

To get clawed back to 2-2 yet steam roller forward in injury time with about 5 players was incredible. Also I need to give him credit when its deservedly due and say that was an incredible and vital save by Calum in injury time2 points

Likewise… I personally can’t wait til our game with them at fir park. I fully expect to beat them. If they win the league (doubtful) fair enough but I’d love to screw it up for them and McIness in particular2 points

The dropping points was us learning the new system and mentality required. All part of the learning process that allowed us to stay positive and score a 90th minute winner. If we can build on that, there could be a great season in store next time too.1 point

I'm trying to think of any game outwith the ugly sisters that has gone to 10 mins extra time. (when only 7 mins were indicated). I'm sure someone on here can enlighten me.1 point

Different rules when playing the ugly sisters Dave, usually play continues till they get the required winner / equaliser or favourable VAR award. No doubt the referee will be getting a please explain email on monday morning to explain what went wrong.1 point

Yes, a great save, and a great block from Jordan McGhee. Its interesting that he's being preferred to Liam Gordon.1 point

I don’t know but I’m assuming it would be for diving or feigning injury.1 point

100% agree. If any team in the league knows how to best us, its Falkirk and they will be an exceedingly tough nut to crack. But lets just enjoy a win at Ibrox for the moment. An excellent fighting display with a late winner. Whats not to like. I'm really chuffed for the souls who followed us there. Some good goals too. I'm a little miffed at some comments that I've read saying that Longelo's winner took a wild deflection and that Butland would have saved it otherwise 100 times out of 100. Yes, it took a deflection but a wild one - no. COYW.1 point

I totally get your viewpoint, and although it isn't sporting to say so, any red card for Hibs benefits us in the run in. Likewise Callum Slattery's enforced absence benefitted them. At the business end of the season, it really is dog eats dog. Whilst it would be nice to round off the season in style, maintaining a clear gap over Hibs is more important. I just hope Slattery's yellow card doesn't trigger a further 2 match suspension. We've never been told the conditions attached to his suspended 2 game ban.1 point

The official stats say we committed 10 fouls to their 15. I'm so used to seeing soft fouls given against teams at Ibrox it often passes me by, but if we did only concede 10, that's not a bad day's work against this mob.1 point

Can we open the goal of the season for new entries? brilliant performance from the team. To keep going at the 90th minute. SOD galloping the length of the park for the third- never thought I would see it. Wards save in extra time too. Just brilliant. Hats off to the entire team and staff.1 point

I’ve never particularly liked Derek McInnes, indeed I always thought he was an utter prick when he was at Aberdeen. But I find myself thinking warming to him and also that his beard probably smells amazing. He most probably uses top of the range grooming products on it. Fair play to him and Hearts. 👍1 point

Look at that, the shitebags rode it out, rallied and won the match. Great 3 points, we're never ever out of a game. Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks, beautiful Sunday!1 point

Kipre just booked for Ipswich and it flashed up that's his 11th yellow this season. Is Craig Thompson refereeing doon there?1 point

I was one of Ward’s biggest critics at the start of the season, but credit where it’s due. He’s not just a keeper benefitting from a good team, he’s a key part of why it’s good.1 point

Great name Wullie, but my favourite player of that era was the man whose photo I use, that of Charlie Aitken.1 point

Just new to site. Ancient so expect many Ancell babes references and tales of horror and heroic failures particularly against Sundau's opponents. Feel we have lost a lot of zest recently and clearly see a Slattery effect in how our games are refereed. Hoping for a return to earlier control levels at the very least1 point

Absolutely. Delighted for Simo. Always thought he deserved a chance with us as manager but it never quite happened. He seems like a very decent character. Hope they can stay up when they come up (as long a Motherwell finish above them).1 point
