That's my impression as well. We all know the behaviour of some Rangers fans has been unsavoury and menacing in the past, like the infamous riot at FP in 1978 because they were 2-0 down and looking at a hiding, and many other violent incidents over the years, including in Manchester after the UEFA Final in 2008. That said, the behaviour of a section of Celtic fans seems to have deteriorated the more they have dominated the Scottish game in the last 15 years and the growth of the Green Brigade is a toxic phenomenon which shows an arrogant sense of entitlement and sense of impunity which we can see transfers to the club itself with its recent desperate attempts to justify/deny the indefensible after last Wednesday and Saturday. Unfortunately, we're stuck with them both because to admit them to the English Premiership would be suicidal for it, even if it were possible. Until there is a real will shown by the police, SG and Scottish football authorities to restore order, fairness and sporting integrity to our game, nothing will change. I wonder also how many of our "new" supporters will have been put off by these recent events, despite the best efforts of our manager, players and club generally?2 points

I feel dirty typing this, but seems that Rangers fans have actually been fairly well-behaved at Fir Park. The stairways mostly clear, no reported damage, no pitch invasions (since the play-off). I'd be in favour of giving Celtic the upper tier only and bill them for loss of revenue from the empty seats. We'll stop billing them and open the lower tier when their fans learn how to behave themselves.2 points

I see the EFL have kicked Southampton out the playoff final for multiple breaches related to their spying on the opposition. Pending appeal, but good to see some actual action taken against actual cheating.2 points

I’m not sure, but I don’t think he was on a ‘fixed-term’ contract. I think it may have been a 1-year rolling contract so I don’t know if there will be a huge sum due to us in compensation.1 point

I'm not expecting a mass exodus, but if we lost Slattery, Just and Watt in the same window, that would be hard to take. I assume that's not the plan, but you could see how close they were to JBA and each other in that dressing room video.1 point

Im so gutted, as my son is also. Every time we start to build, it gets torn apart. This is the real frustration of supporting Motherwell. Getting tired of constant rebuilds.1 point

In a few months we are gonna be the richest fan owned club in the UK 🤣🤣1 point

My daughter was a mascot in an end of season game with Butcher in charge. He was nowhere near the dressing room in the 10-15 mins leading up to kick off. He was at the dugout gabbing to the mascots parents and the photographers.1 point

Yeah I think we all had a wee glimmer of hope he would stay but really we expected Jens to go. However pretty sure the board already had plans for this should this situation crop up i have nothing but faith in the club to get it right again.1 point

So, the clubs are currently in discussions. That means they're probably thrashing out compensation. We'll see what comes of that. If JBA is going to leave, then I'd prefer that he did so now. That gives us time to source a replacement in time for the new season starting. No doubt, the directors have a plan in place for this very eventuality.1 point

As much as I'll be gutted to see him go you an understand his ambitions and a decent European side fits that ambition however if he ended up with those East End tramps I'd wish him nothing but bad luck.1 point

If one was to read twitter comments, with no prior knowledge of the subject, you may actually think that Jens was potentially leaving Celtic to go to Toulouse.1 point

It is that easy, the away club issues the tickets to the away supporters, checking their buying history ie season ticket holders or buying multiple times for home games. No history no ticket. Rule for invasion can be more than 10 supporters, taking away to odd idiot who runs on and is usually grabbed by the police or stewards anyway.1 point

That's our 5 big sellable assets with deals for the next 2 years. 2028 - Fadinger 2027 (With 1 year options) - Watt, Just, Maswanhise, Longelo1 point

I can't see past Hanley over Welsh tbh... Welsh is continually overlooked for some reason. Agree re Miller - the midfield is our best area, suspect he needed a stronger last half season to be included.1 point
