Had a look just now and that is not what I see. Admittedly the podcast concerning Motherwell and Hibs progressing is there on the second row but the top article regards how many points are needed to win the league and is Celtic, Rangers, Hearts centred. The main sports page has Commonwealth games news (as it should) and then is dominated but OF stories. The gossip page comes next which every day is almost exclusively Rangers and Celtic content. It contains the Shankland bombshell again. The magnitude of that hit me just as hard second time to be fair. The next story is the full blown Shankland exclusive. After that a Celtic story. The article on the Motherwell game is 7 or 8 down and takes a bit of finding. Remember this is on the day the game is being played. Admittedly this is better than nothing but look over days and the sports pages are 80%-90% Old Firm centred. Most of the them are non stories. The Motherwell game is a real story. A game being played today with a Scottish teams best chance of progressing in Europe at this stage. It should be headline news. If we are happy with what we get, great but factually speaking there is not an even spread of non OF stories on the BBC.2 points

STV is a total joke as well. However, its slightly more acceptable, as its privately owned, than the BBC which is a publicly owned organisation but doesn't act like it. Scottish sports coverage is poor but we all know why.2 points

Would be very enjoyable to see him be SPFL top scorer again this season 🙂2 points

First time I’ve listened to him talk to the press. Obviously speaks for himself And his thoughts but very much in the same mold as JBA. So I think MFC has done a great job and that we have the “same but different” and look to be serious about sticking to our new footballing philosophy.2 points

Williams was good, Mikey Booth impressed me again, Fadinger did Fadinger things, and despite his lack of finishing, Said doesnt half get us up the pitch at times. MOTM is easy though. Oscar again by a mile. The boy is class. Different player from Watt but class nonetheless.1 point

HB came out the blocks flying as you would expect with their home record, but we settled quickly and after the first 10 minutes dominated the ball and the game. You can see that the team is still new and finding its feet with a few stray passes giving HB more encouragement than they needed. Paulsen and the 2 centre backs still dont feel 100% comfortable, but that will come. Overall it was a very impressive performance and I think we are miles ahead of where we were this time last season. Loads of room for improvement but with Longelo and Cookie now looking ready, Maswanhise getting minutes off the bench and Lowry now available for selection, things are looking promising. Will be a step up in class next week, but with a wee trip to Easter Road on Sunday, I would expect us to be ready. Just no more injuries please!1 point

Yeah, very professional performance, if somewhat slack with the passing at times. Again, Said should have had a couple. If he could compose himself in front of goal he'd be worth a fortune.1 point

I think we will conceed more this season, but score more. If it gets us wins then all good.1 point

Comments on the BBC live reporting would suggest we need to tighten up our defense a wee bit. Sounds like they have had a few opportunities but failed to score. Better teams will be converting these chances.1 point

There are two articles and a podcast concerning Motherwell on the first two rows of the BBC Scottish Football web page. BBC radio live broadcasts just about every match day involving a Scottish club, league, cup or Europe. It also puts out daily podcasts and broadcasts a TV highlights show for every set of league fixtures and is set to broadcast live all Scotland matches on TV. They also live broadcast plenty of lower league matches. Scottish football has lots of problems but media coverage isn't one of them. Scottish Premiership clubs get vastly more coverage than similar sized clubs in the English lower leagues. It's fashionable to knock the BBC but if it didn't exist we'd be in a much worse situation. You'd be lucky if you even got a highlights package on terrestrial TV as its doubtful anyone else would pay for the rights.1 point

Fwiw, if you use the BBC Sport app instead, you can pick which teams and sports you’re interested in, and it generally does just show you stories about those on its home page with much less OF pish.1 point

Went on the BBC Sport website to get a match preview for tomorrow's European game to be welcomed with the headline news that Lawrence Shankland is to be the new Rangers Captain!!!! Who needs football matches when you have this kind of breaking news gold dust coming out of Ibrox.1 point

Cause he is better playing wide and running at players for me much more effective. This is why we are needing to find someone in the middle that can stick the ball in the net or at least chip in with a few goals.1 point

I can relate to that as I have been ripping the a**e out of some jokes for years 🤪🤪1 point
