Don't think the new signing fits in with our style of signing this window. Perhaps there's an agreement that he changes his name to Dylan Dylan-Levitt, then he'd be fine.4 points

He should have gone to Ross County for the second phase of "the project'3 points

Keep posting MJC. I don't often agree with you but I enjoy reading your posts. Its very rare in life that someone is 100% wrong or 100% right all of the time. We need all shades of opinion on these boards. If anyone is not open to considering other people's opinions then they have a closed mind. Personally, I like to consider other points of view, even opposite ones to mine, to shape my own opinions.3 points

Wilson isn’t “hanging about” as far as I’m concerned, he’s a valuable squad player who can cover for injuries or suspension’s and come in when others tire or the defence needs added to during a game. I really don’t get this obsession some people have to get him out the door. OK he needs to improve a bit to be a first pick player but he’s still a useful player to have and could still become a first choice player in time.3 points

We've recruited well so far but I'm not having that. Moormann's been good but Welsh was a level above in my opinion.3 points

Defensive midfielder and hopefully stiffen up that area and stop us getting bullied by the SPL hammer throwers. On the Longelo rumours front, Rangers have denied interest in signing him but another rumour has surfaced that Celtic are interested in him. Unless he’s seeking a move, I hope the board reject any and all offers for him. We should absolutely not be selling our best players to any teams in Scotland.3 points

I know the name but Levitt is someone I know little about. Hopefully he’s a good signing. I am a bit concerned about Fadinger now. Really do not want to lose him. When everyone was gushing over just and Slattery I felt he was more important to the team as a whole. Be gutted if he were to leave.3 points

Hope hes a good plumber cos hes never a striker. The fact his loan club have shown no interest in signing him despite given the option to buy suggests he did fuck to impress at Sydney. Id take the hit and cancel his contract.3 points

Correct Dave, a lot of valid reasons why the seats were replaced, which nobody has any issues with, but no admittance that the "only option available" while looking good on paper, just meeting the criteria, etc has in reallity been a mistake. They say they would lose around 500 seats in the POD, so lost revenue was obviously a concern for the club but the seats are not fit for purpose, a potential saftey hazzard, so fan saftey should take priority over finances. There was also no indication in the email that the club is looking to resolve the issue, it gave the distinct impression that " we picked the only solution we had, we now know it was an error, but the seats are here to stay" Im not a WS member but for me they have not stepped up to address this issue, which as majority shareholders they should be doing.2 points

With Just away my mate said its halved my surname joke opportunities. I said maybe but I wont levitt alone! 🤣🤣2 points

Id rather keep him and lose him next season for nothing than sell him to Rangers under market value. His form may have dropped off, and I have been critical of him, but we have moved on from being soft touches in the transfer market. £3m seems about right for the leagues top scorer. Add £1m on top if its Rangers & Celtic as they wont pay that.2 points

As the window in most of Europe along with England closes today, unless we are selling to another Scottish team, which is very unlikely the Thursday close should not be a problem.2 points

My mum and dad both told me jokes about Motherwell players and asked me to judge them and decide which was better....I said, Maw's wan, easy.....1 point

I think you are spot on. The potential loss of revenue from 500 seats was the issue for the Board. And saying that the loss of those seats would have displaced fans to other Stands is a flawed attempt to justify their decision. They wished to maximise income from European ties by retaining 3000+ seats in the POD. Some might see that financial reasoning as justification. I doubt those affected think that way though. And the figures presented don't add up. The loss off those 500 seats would leave a capacity of over 2500 which is surely more than enough to cater for all current POD season ticket holders. Given the number of unoccupied seats in the wings and the tickets available for purchase for league matches that seems a reasonable conclusion. Folk might not have been seated in the exact location as they are at present but moving a few meters up or down/right or left would have been preferable to what we now have. In my opinion anyway. And consultation could easily have taken place as the possibility of European qualification was known for months before season end. The Club made a poor decision which badly affected many long term, committed fans. Now Brian is circling the wagons to justify that poor decision. That will come back to haunt him when/if someone gets badly injured. Meantime keep handing in any broken seats to the Director's Box.1 point

He's explained the thought process, like it or lump it. I don't really think the seats are that uncomfortable (there's more leg room than previously for a start) it's just the lack of room for squeezing by others that's the main issue. So long as they clean them regularly and don't let them get caked in bird shit that's about the best we can hope for. They'll not be getting replaced again, the seats meet all the criteria needed to keep UEFA and all the other regulators happy so that's that. One way or another the stand won't be there for much longer so they're not going to go throwing more good money after bad.1 point

For leagues top scorer that is nonsense. That is a ridiculous comment. His form has dropped but he has pace and proven record last season.1 point

So priestman out for a few months and cant rely on hodge and faddy every game. Looks like Levitt was being signed anyway and isn't because anyone due to leave touch wood1 point

I think he will start to score goals again once we have the team thru a few practice sessions with AJ. I also think Thor will nab us a few goals.1 point

I always think there needs to be a premium added if you sell to a direct rival. We can't stop it, but we can profit from it. Miovski might fit into our side OK, but it will never happen. The only reason Rangers are involved in the JT chat is because we play them at the weekend.1 point

Be interesting to know how much we have spent so far as most undisclosed fees. I reckon at least 1.5 million so good to see club investing it and using a chunk of money we have received. Time will tell but i think squad looking stronger than last season once everyone fit and I think we have brought in good quality judging by early signs1 point

I guess its good advice. But when you have the chairman going public saying we wont sell all our good players at the one time, you kinda hold out hope that we wont lose everyone. Losing Ward, Watt, Just & Slattery was tough enough in the one window. If we end up losing Longelo, Fadinger & Maswanhise as well, that will be really hard to take. It could be worse, my English team could be Aston Villa, oh wait! 🫣🫣🫣1 point

Heard an interesting quote supposedly from Tony Bloom at Hearts, " dont get attached to the players ". The model hearts and ourselves are using means players are going to be passing through all the time and if they aren't moving on for good money, they're not good enough. You can't help liking big Manny and Faddy but its the football world we are operating in.1 point

My fear is losing Fadinger and/ or Longello . Maswanhise I couldn't care less about if the moneys good.1 point

Really chuffed with Levitt signing, as long as he stays injury free he’ll be a great addition. I don’t see us getting through the window unscathed without losing one or more key player unfortunately with Fadinger and Longelo being the most obvious ones but will be will be. Maswanhise hasn’t kicked his own backside since February so if we get a decent bid in for him then we’ll have done well out of that one.1 point

Got it in one...Stama! Was back on bench against Freiburg, never got on, walked down the tunnel instead of coming onto the pitch to applaud the fans with the rest of the players. I have been told by sources at the club he isn't interested and wants to go back home, so time to move him on!1 point

I would read that as impacting the actual penalty kick, which it didn’t. An answer from IFAB is: The penalty kick is retaken only if the encroachment clearly impacted on the kicker or the ball rebounds into play and the encroaching player then plays the ball or challenges an opponent for the ball and prevents the opponents from scoring, attempting to score or creating a goal-scoring opportunity. Gogic clearly impacted Maswanhise collecting the rebound so it’s the second part that is relevant.1 point

I would have thought bringing in another goalkeeper would be something we’d look at before the window closes. We’re surely not simply going to go with Connolly as the main backup?0 points

We will be lucky to get 1 million for Maswanhise. Chauffeur him to Ibrox if they offer over 7 figures for him0 points
