  1. Not sure that McCall would even make the short-list to be honest. Let's hope that he can keep most of the squad together and do better next year i.e. top 4 plus a cup final!
  2. 4-3 to us with hat-tricks for Sutton and Boyd.
  3. Their keeper bottled it big time.
  4. A night out in Inverness? Did he even make it to the right game?
  5. McManus is also out of contract in the summer, with Hutchy leaving we really need his experience to help the likes of Kerr, Cummins and Murray. If he wants to stay with us, of course.
  6. I'd rather be a Dosser than a Hibee reading that table, though.
  7. Just a wee thought.... Do we really need Europe? It's good for the players and the fans alright but is it really good for the club as a whole? The tie with Kuban put things into perspective for me because there were reports that we made no money from it and maybe even came out making a loss. The point of these ties is to go as far as we can, give valuable experience to our players, give our fans something to look forward to and maybe earn a bit of money in the process. However, to make a loss because we got a crap draw makes me wonder if the money saved by not playing in Europe could be better spent elsewhere.
  8. Tricky situation this. If he's injury-free we could offer him a three-year contract and sell him on for a tidy sum, but if his injury persists we'd be stuck with a crock.
  9. A Hibs spokesperson said: "In general, we don't ban drums at Easter Road - unlike many other stadiums. However, most fans that bring drums bring bass drums - this one is a snare drum which is much more intrusive. "At the last match against Motherwell at Easter Road - when the snare drum was used - we received numerous complaints, both from Hibernian and Motherwell fans. That is the reason the decision has been taken." It's just getting silly now, only certain types of drum are allowed....
  10. From MFC email: Stuart McCall will have the same squad to work with as he did last Friday. Lee Erwin, Simon Ramsden, Paul Lawson, Craig Moore and Fraser Kerr all miss out, whilst Bob McHugh and Adam Cummins are still out on loan. Right-back Craig Reid, who signed late on Friday and made his first appearance at Tannadice, remains in contention

    Hated Players

Sorry mate, got to disagree with you regarding the second offence. Nutting someone in the back of the head whilst making out you're going for the ball is one of the oldest - and dirtiest - tricks in the book.
  12. First penalty since Kuban I think.

I see Derek Adams has spat the dummy out again regarding that wannabe hard-man Goodwin. He's got a point - and we all know it - but this regular bleating to the media is just making him look like a fanny. St Mirren must love playing Ross County these days (fair enough they lost last time out) because they know what to do to psyche them out. Adams should keep his mouth shut because, in my opinion, he's weakening his team with his complaints!
  14. Really glad it's worked out for him. He must have been gutted in the summer after impressing on trial, going on the tour to Spain, then Mick decided on us over Hibs and our money was all spent. Perhaps Ramsden and Kerr's injuries are worse than first thought?
  15. Comedy run-up for the penalty reminded me of Mugatu: [yt] [/yt]
  16. Black, McCall and Marshall still registered as players?
  17. Beeb reporting that Vigurs is a doubt too.
  18. My grand-dad always spoke very highly of him, R.I.P. Too early to say probably but I hope that the club erect a permanent memorial for him at Fir Park.
  19. Very smart Wullie, would definitely like to see us in something like that.
  20. Take off faeces and excrement - way too formal - replace them with keich and ploppy and you're on to a winner. Seat the Blackadder fans at the Ploppy Table....
  21. Stephen is a talented stopper in the Andy Goram mould The chap is twice the size Goram was but it still made me chuckle.
  22. Designed to have a dig at Andy Goram?
  23. Funny that.... considering he never played a single minute for Leeds in the four years he was there.... However, he's available, he's free, he wouldn't be expecting a high wage, so maybe we could offer him a trial? Or at the very least offer him our facilities to keep fit and keep an eye on him?He seems to have been a fans favourite at Barrow, Ayr and Crewe.

    Tom Hateley

Just wait 'til they play Legia and Henrik tears him to pieces.... Nothing against Tom, just think that defending wasn't always his strong point.
  25. Aye, always thought he was a decent keeper at Hearts, doing well this season too.
