Is this a fact?

Baraclough said Hammell had an operation today and would be back in 4 weeks. Seemed quite positive that it would sort out his injury problems.

Also said we had another signing in the pipeline but obviously didn't say who it was. Won't go through before the weekend though.

The further loss of Hammell rankles a bit. Having just come back the week before, when he didn't complete the full ninety, it seemed risky bordering on the downright stupid to play him at Hamilton. And here we are....

...that is of course working on the assumption its the same injury. But still.

You can't just put it down to the physio. Someone will have to remind me but did we not have 2 or 3 others who done their cruciate the season Kaiser did his.I'm fairly sure that was the season we got dragged into the relegation zone right at the tail end?? Malpas or Butcher? It's all a blur to me.

The point I'm making is that Porteous was the physio then.

Presumably this is his second operation this season, the first one having taken place only a month or two back? It seems strange that his first operation did not take place until well into the season despite the fact that he was injured before the league season kicked off. Its all very odd unless he's picked up 2 serious unrelated injuries.

Scott McDonald: Striker leaves Millwall as contract is cancelled

Millwall striker Scott McDonald has had his contract cancelled by the club to enable him to find a new team.

The 31-year-old Australian moved to The Den on a free transfer in July 2013 after cancelling his contract at Middlesbrough by mutual consent.

The former Celtic forward scored six goals in 60 games for the Lions, netting for the final time in the 3-3 FA Cup draw with Bradford on 3 January.

McDonald's contract at Millwall was due to expire this summer.

No chance...not in our league finance wise but depends how many offers he has. Would he come back to a relegation fight, not sure but would be delighted if he did.

He did not score too many at Millwall but he was banging them in for Middlesborogh and Celtic before them so he has the talent

Given Erwin and Moore have apparently showed well in the last couple of games and we now have Pearson adding a bit of running, what are people's thoughts on extending Ojaama's loan? Money better spent elsewhere?

If it involves getting a left-back and possibly a winger in, 100% yes.
