If he was Irish though or foreign they’d be calling for an immediate recall. Thankfully he’s from Coatbridge so he’s deemed not good enough and doesn’t kiss the badge enough for the world beaters and the worlds best fans. i hope we can get him permanently as he’s a really good fit for us. I thought Coatbridge considered themselves part of Ireland

MJC
On the subject of recalling loan players, we’ve just recalled Matty Connelly as apparently Ox has picked up an injury.

AllyMax
I see Brenda Rogers has left the tattidome again, with O'neill coming in. Wonder if he'll want all his options available to him and recall Welsh.

Ah, you may be right. I had it in my head that Biereth was recalled outside a window, but he wasn't.

He came back to us after that, though. Then Arsenal recalled him when it looked like they needed a backup striker, but shifted him to Austria instead. texanwellfan
I hope we are working on a new contract for Slattery. His contract up at end of this season? I’m also wondering if we can hold onto JBA and all of our players for next season. Takes away from the enjoyment a bit when i think that teams with more money will just come wave a few pounds our way and be off with some of our best players. That happens all the way up the food chain - with the Saudis currently at the top. We have to, and do, offer other benefits like more regular starts and advancement in national teams. We can’t force anyone to stay.
mio
We could maybe try and organise a blue badge for him or a few hand rails added to his bathroom. He’s been out injured over half of his Motherwell career. This is in half jest as I do think he’s a cracking player I just think the more injuries he’s had, the more it will affect him as his career continues. All these bad injuries mount up on the old body. It’s a shame for the lad.

FirParkCornerExile
Has anyone heard any update on Jordan McGhee. In July his injury suggested he'd be out for up to 8 weeks.

Think there was some talk of "a player" having to go see a specialist but it was round about the same time Nicholson got injured again and there wasnt any clarity given by the club. grizzlyg
Jim Paterson new Head Of Academy Coaching. Richard Foster left to explore opportunities elsewhere
Kmcalpin
A bit strange. We all knew that something was up with Richard Foster and the wording of his exit seems a bit terse. That said, I'm pleased to see Jim Paterson land the post. I think he's been involved with the club for a wee while, if only unofficially. OTF will know the story. Always had a lot of time for Jim after seeing him sit with the fans at East End rather than using a complimentary ticket for their Main Stand. MJC
Good to see ‘Stepover’ back at the club. Mind the poster (Dundee Utd fan I imagine) JimmyShimmy who posted on here back in the day who absolutely loved Jim Paterson? 😂
