Doubt we could afford his wages I'd love Bannan to come to Motherwell but it makes no sense for him at all. I mean I'm not on to bring the guy down, he's been better recently, but he's our 4th/5th choice midfielder depending on how you feel about Priestman. I have no idea who posted about Slattery - just that there were many dissenters. It always surprised me, as he always looked like a footballer to me, and any time I saw his starts for tackles, passes and assists he was usually near the top. He was also the most fouled player in the Premiership at one time, which suggests the opposition rated him too. I totally get that everyone has their favourites and preferred style of player etc. but I have to admit that sometimes I'm left scratching my head.
