I don’t see us selling any of our (key players) to another Scottish club in this window and hopefully not any window. Watt’s injury probably helped quell speculation about hm.
With respect to Welsh, Celtic are really doing the dirty on him and messing us around as well. Again, reading what Celtic are saying, they apparently have no plans to play him and so will be paying him 10k a week for nothing. I just don’t get the point in what they are doing.

Hes celtics player and they can do what they like with him - that doesn't mean they aren't pricks.

I think the longer it goes on, its a case of who blinks 1st...10k a week from now until end of May is what, 200k? Absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things to them but I reckon they're trying to squeeze us for a covering a higher % of his wage

Could be! Then Celtic can be telling him, “it’s not our fault, it’s those Motherwell bastards who won’t pay their share of your wages”.
I don’t know how the loan deals work but we had him on a season loan, with an option to recall him, obviously.  However, once they recall him is that the original deal/terms cancelled or are the original loan terms still active? Maybe depends on wording in the contract?
If they had any decency or integrity they would send him back to us to complete the loan deal as originally agreed upon rather than put the boy on the shelf for half a season.

I suspect when the loaned him to us, they weren't expecting us to be a direct competitor for a top 3 spot.

One reason they may want to hold on to him is they don't want to contribute to our improvement. And I actually would see the logic in that.

I think someone had a related comment a couple weeks ago on that same line of thought but saying it’s probably to Celtics advantage to have him play for us to increase chances of us beating other teams challenging Celtic amd of course we can’t use Welsh when we play Celtic.

Not even a whisper of a decent rumor?

Here's a whisper then. Dylan Levitt from Hibs.

Was mentioned to me earlier today by a Hibs mate who is pretty reliable when it comes to transfer  info from Easter Road. Out of contract in the summer and unlikely to get a new deal. Good number of appearances for Utd and then Hibs but injury hindered his game time at Easter Road. Now fit but but with Andrews added to the mix he is very much looking at bench time, if that.

If we are interested it could be more about covering anticipated outgoings in the Summer.

Young Campbell Forrest off to Accies on loan for the rest of the season. Be really interested to see how he gets on. I’ve watched him a number of times and think he’s a real prospect. I actually thought he looked a better prospect than McCallister and McColm. Hopefully he’ll do well.

Daily Record reporting Blackburn Rovers preparing a £1.5mil bid for Maswanhise!!!!!

Surely that should go straight in the bin

Ok Blackburn, your turn now!  Rearrange these words into a well know phrase or saying

off  fuck

According to P&B that was based on a Tweet from the same guy who spent a week on social media arguing with an account from a Pie.

Of course they can prepare a bid for 1.5 million. They can even make an offer of 1.5 million. They have zero chance of success with 1.5 million.

At this stage of the window, I'd be looking for 6 million plus and providing a link to the Bowie transfer stories as a reference.

Levitt was unreal at Dundee Utd when he first went there can't say I've seen much of him at Hibs but he's certainly a decent player. I suspect we'll only bring in a CB between now and the end of the window tho. I'd like us to get a Lb in as playing JK LB is not a long term solution in that position and JBA seems to have gone right of Longelo. I feel he's been playing injured for months as he doesn't look like he's moving as fluidly as when he first came. In terms of outgoings we could maybe get rid of Robinson but I don't know if he's even fit and we tend to rehab guys before we cut them loose.

We could probably do with a winger until RCC is back but i doubt many will be looking to come sit on the bench at M'well for 6 months.

If there's any truth to it I'd imagine Levitt is being lined up as a replacement for Slattery (or maybe even Watt?) in the summer.

We'll not be signing a winger, the days of signing guys just to take the place of players with slight injuries left with Kettlewell. We'll sign a CB (probably Welsh) and maybe a LB and that'll be it.

I'm very aware the Winger is unlikely. Levitt would be a Watt replacement he's a deep lying playmaker. The CB and LB are the priorities either way.

Welsh on the bench for Celtic.

I think that’s because that big donkey Trusty is suspended. I’m hoping for 2 draws in today’s games .

Maybe we’ll get him after today’s game

Maybe why just cover on bench?
Surely he must be judged to have more experience and form than Murray if they’re struggling for centraL defence.

Either way would be happy for him to come on and score a couple of own goals 😆
